We delve into the Gameweek 2 data this Wednesday evening in the first members article of the week. Man United and Sunderland’s new midfielders impress on their first starts, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane’s contrasting fortunes arrive under analysis, whilst Michail Antonio thrives on his return to the Hammers’ flank.
Chelsea fans out there..
How's willian news? Is he going to start vs burnley? Or should i change him for a hit
Lost in last page.. sorry for reposting...
Current team.
Courtoise / Jakupovic
Friend / Byram / Evans / Stones / Shaw
Alli / Redmond / Ramirez / Capoue / Jedinak
Aguero / Zlatan / Costa (1 Free transfer & 3.4 in the bank)
Should i use wild card or wait??
If not this week, then next. That midfield!!
Personally I'd be WCing that lot.
Courtois > Heaton / Foster
Costa > Benteke or Negredo
Alli > Lamela
Jedinak > Barkley
Ramirez > Hazard / Mane / Sterling / Nolito
Evans and Friend may be injured, Byram start time questionable
I can straight do Jedinak > Barkley
who to cap?
1) kun
2) ibra
3) haz
4) others
my heart for ibra, but brain thinks kun is a safer bet
haz is definitely risky but could be rewarding
Between 1 & 2 for me.
Head -> Ibra
Heart -> Kun
If friend is ruled out. Play-
A. Amat (lei) / Pieters(eve)
B. AoA with Capoue(ARS)
Pieters
Foster (MID)
Shaw (hul) - Souare (BOU) - Williams (STK)
Redmond (SUN) - Hazard (BUR) - Barkley (STK) - Sterling (WHU)
Ibra (hul) - Rondon (MID) - Aguero (WHU).
Finally settled.
Wc?
Oh yes.
Bench: Jak - Capoue - McAuley - Amat.
Look good for now. Sterling is the one to watch for me.
Ibra ownership now at 53.5%. Does anyone recall what Suarez ownership got to at his peak? I recall it was very high.
About 64 IIRC
Thanks LR12
FYI peeps. Saying "as a (insert team) fan" doesn't mean you know what you are talking about.
My man. Hows it going son.
Lot more chance of them knowing a lot more than you do about that specific team though, having watched every full game for example. Not just MOTD highlights.
Play Ramirez (wba) or Gray (che)?
GRAY!
Leaning that way, too. Cheers.
What would you do here? 2FT, looking to carry 1 over.
Foster Jakupovic
McAuley Evans Targett Amat Paredes
Hazard Tadic Lamela Townsend Højbjerg
Kun Zlatan Vardy
When i see your team, there's not a thing that i would change.
If you must, maybe consider changing Hojbjerg to Capoue?
Cheers!
Thanks Ibra
Nice to see a Champ between all these chimps for a change.
🙄
I'm gonna cry. All my fav people on here!
Now all we need is Evs & Tommy T and I'm peeing my pants...
Weeeeeeeeeeeee
*changes undies...
Aww. Love reciprocated you two.
You're a Delboy fan. Keep for one more week you reckon? Or should i twist to Redmond/Townsend?
Also, are you on soundcloud? I have some sick new tunes you might like.
Redmond as striker for 6.0 is too good to refuse.
Gotta run, email me.
Injuries are getting your team.
wtf, who now?
Friend. Might need to AOA unless you play Souare.
Oh yeah him. fecker.
Had him on my bench anyway. Can always WC.
lol
Na. Hold for a 2 days before you do. You will have the international break. Price rises and potential injuries.
WC next week? Think I am
Hey TT, that was the idea. Will see how things pan out. Was recently thinking GW 7/8 with swing in fixtures....
When i see your team, there's not a thing that i would change.
If you must, maybe consider changing Hojbjerg to Capoue?
Do Isacki, Gink and Snake still come on here?
What about Scroobius Mac?
None ComH. Gink sometimes. Mac is on titter.
How you doing ComH
2011 I first found this site, seems that long ago.
I'm fine LT, how are you?
Doing good. Yep remember us joining the site at around the right time.
So took the plunge and sold Wilson for Tekkers...
He who dares
Even Old School is here now!
*warm fluid running down thighs....
😯
only a fleeting visit but thanks LR
TEKKERS!!!
I am thinking Musa to Tekkers
go for it..
Thanks! waiting for Bony news as well...might just do it
best of luck with whatever you decide
Thanks! 🙂
Musa > Tekkers.
If Bony goes to WH and Tekkers disappoints switch to Bony.
He's cheaper than Tekkers so easy downgrade.
Quality move mate. Tekkers top of my strikers list, but vardy gets one more game first.
This is Vardy's encore, hoping for a brace.
Please be so. He's testing my patience 👿
BTW did you need snake juice for something in particular?
how is snakester doing? Work pinning him down? I was wanting to pop him a mail to say hi...
Yeah he's good, very busy. Mail him.
He's a Dr ain't he?
It is reversible Rudi 😉
...I need to make it smaller though...
😉
😆
thought I would try and jump on the bandwagon before there actually was one and the international break...
Cue wilson brace and Tekkers 5 minute cameo
If Bony goes to West Ham, will he be a success?
Well, he's pretty good in the air, and holds the ball well. I would say with Payet and Ayew supporting him, looks to be a good shout!
thanks
I think he would be a great success at west ham.
So should I give Musa another week and wait for the Bony news or Just get Tekkers now?
I got 2 doubts over Evans and Friend
wtf did i miss
EFL Cup
Will they start?
Pressers should give a good idea
Something needs to break the template.
Already 2 weeks into the season the Ibra/Negredo, Gray, 6.5m striker/Kun is set in stone in most ML's.
Time for Giroud/Lolkaku/Tekkers/Ozil/KdB/Alexis/Payet and some expensive defenders to break the template.
I can't wait.
Yeah, else it would become boring!
I'm thinking lukaku might be the next one to show up
Rondon hat-trick this weekend is the stuff of dreams. Sod Gray/Negredo.
Negredo hattrick as well. 3-3
im looking at ozil. looked good when he came on last week
Xhaka passes it to Sanchez who passes it to Ozil who passes it to Giroud.... goal kick
Going Lukaku Alexis on WC
Go big or go home. How many changes on WC you reckon? i will monitor injuries/form of players I want later on and might have to join you early on...
Internet is so bad here at work I can't reply, so Tina.....
Im basically looking to get rid of my midfield and Costa the card magnet, set me up for West Ham Arsenal and Evertons run. Who are the swingers you talk about GW7?
Ars/WH
Wildcard is waiting 😀
I'm running Lukaku - Kun - Benteke this week!
Activated my WC this week, not having Ibra is huge risk.
So:
Jakupovic Foster
Williams Valencia Stones Amat Simpson
Hazard Redmond Capoue Lamela Barkley
Ibra Kun Benteke
0.0 m left in Bank. What do you think?
i like it Good to go!!
i have a similar team
Foster (jaku)
mcauley Valencia funesmori (kingsley love)
Hazard Redmond sterling Barkley (maloney)
Ibra Kun Benteke
Good looking team.
Stumps me as to why people WC after 2 games unless your team is a TOTAL mess.
it was total mess with no kun and zlatan sir!
Oh hi
Slow day at the office means it's ffs time?
Always 🙂
+1
haha almost every day. Good fun!
I have Kone || Friend || Evans doubtful to play...Might play AOA this week..
Evans will play.
Unless Arsenal buy him...
Thanks Christina! 🙂
Just patiently wait for the pressers..
Yeah, won't do anything before the pressers
Wouldn't it be better used in a double game week?
AOA is the most useless Chip...BB and TC are better for DGW
Can you use them all in one game week?
nope
please rate my wilcard
Jakupovic Foster
Williams Valencia Stones Amat Simpson
Hazard Redmond Capoue Lamela Barkley
Ibra Kun Benteke
This is exactly how I would pick my team if I use my WC even although I am yet to be convinced by Benteke. I need to see more of his performance before I decide.
Please help me finalized my WC team.
Heaton / Jakupovic
Shaw / Stones / Williams / McAuley / Souare
Hazard / Barkley / Redmond / Ramirez / Capoue
Aguero / Zlatan / Rondon (1.9 in the Bank)
How to improve this??
1. Barkley > Ozil
or
2. Rondon > Bentekke
or
3. Downgrade 1 of Stones/Williams to 4.5 DEF and Rondon > Giroud???
Please suggest... Thanks in advance.
i will be fitting Sanchez or Ozil in there if i am on WC
No Spurs might backfire
Looks good.
Tekkers is tempting.
I'd maybe use the money to upgrade Redmond or Ramirez > Tadic
Foster (jaku)
mcauley Valencia funesmori (kingsley love)
Hazard Redmond sterling Barkley (maloney)
Ibra Kun Benteke
please rate my wildcard out of 10 and if any suggestion
please see mine above... till then i am seeing yours... 😛
I would do Sterling to Ozil anyhow... and not sure about kingsley and love.
then please suggest who for kingsley ad love
Double West Brom defense doesn't look good. and Funes Mori might not be a starter when Coleman is back
thanks bro!
Looks like FFS has gone into 2013 on this page.
WC team:
Foster / Jaku
Walker / Shaw / McAuley / Amat / Collins
Barkley / Hazard / Lamela / Redmond / Capoue
Aguero / Ibra / Rondon
Any suggestions? Thinking Rondon -> Negredo
1.1 ITB
Rondon will start banging man...
Give Rondon a week IMO.
Team looks good. Maybe improve the Keepers
Was thinking of keeping the money in the bank, in case Tekkers goes bang.
All we really need is for Divock Origi to be a starting striker for Liverpool.
or Jannsen.
Both scoring a brace would make things interesting
Or Batshuayi
@Champ, before i bugger off for another month / quarter.. Great fight between Mac and Nate the other day...up there with the best UFC fight I have seen... Looking forward to part 3 but reckon they will do Mac vs Alverez first and leave Aldo alone... what do you think?
Looking forward to see what Brook can do against GGG and Smith vs Canelo
WC Team: Any Suggestions?
Courtois Jakupovic
Shaw Stones Walker Amat Love
Hazard Barkley Redmond Lamela Capoue
Aguero Ibrahimovic Negredo
I know i've bothered you lot a lot and have overthought the living daylights out of this move.
My attack is
Haz Firmino Delboy Lamela Capoue
Kun Ibra Negredo
Now im holding Firmino for this game because i think he'll come through and deserves maybe 2 more games because of his pedigree. He should ideally make way for Mesut or Alexis. (or Negredo makes way for Ollie)
Lamela has 2 more games too. He's doing fine so far but Palace, Hammers, Everton and Arsenal are the teams with Golden fixtures.
Delboy was seemingly rested and might start against Stoke. I don't know if i want to lose him just yet but he could always be hauled of at 60. Problem is i rate him.
Townsend vs Redmond are my earmarked replacements. Redmond is the correct move on paper as he is a saints striker but i have this nagging doubt that Jay Rod and Austin might come into play soon and he's not as nailed as we think he is.
Townsend is very nailed and has the best 4 fixtures a team could hope for but he's moody and Palace is not as good a team as Southampton (seemingly).
Also Firmino is now 8.4 and i need to find more cash from somewhere to convert Firmino to Ozil or i do Firmino -> Townsend/correct Everton mid(next week) and upgrade Negredo to Lukaku/Benteke/Giroud next.
Lots of permutations and combinations and i just can't make up my mind.
Townsend is one of the worst players I have ever seen live... No end product, can't shoot...
Hoping things change as I got Tekkers but I would never get him, has to be Redmond of the two or Barkley if you can afford
Remy to West Ham would be perfect then
so do you suggest if I am on WC then upgrade redmond to Tadic if budget permits? or upgrade ramirez to Townsend?
Ramirez to Townsend. Keep Redmond.
I concur with you. The nice fixture are going to make me get Payet. Waiting for next week when I hope he is 9.3
Thoughts on Delboy?
He has been given an hour each game so far and that at the expense of Lukaku who is back.
I hate giving advice on Everton mids as I think all will be rotated barring injuries.
I removed Deulofeu from my team.
Give Townsend another week and see how he links up with Benteke
We are struggling with the same issues.
Is Stuani a guaranteed starter? I am considering to downgrade Negredo-->Stuani and use the funds to bump up the DEF. any thoughts?
Don't think Stuani is gauranteed at all. Middlesborough have a lot of options in attacking midfield/up front. Adomah could easily come back into the starting line up for the next game for Stuani with Ramirez moving central. Although with 2 goals its unlikely that he'll be dropped for the next match
I My team below with Capoue cover. I have left myself exposed somewhat.
WC side:
Foster Jaku
Bellerin Valencia Baines (Love Amat)
Mahrez Bolasie Redmond Haz (Capue)
Kun Ibra Stuani
0.1 ITB
I am so tempted in freeing up Ibra cash for another decent Mid
Please RMT.
Cheers in advance.
Downgrade defense. Ballerin to Holding then upgrade MID
I just think Bellers is going to be large in coming weeks.
He might come good! But 6.5 is way to expensive for a defender imo.
I spent hours yesterday trying to fit him in. I suppose Baines Valencia Bellerin with fixture considerations is chasing the ace but it is an early big decision for me.
Then id consider doing Baines to Williams saves you 1.5 and you could upgrade a MID
0.5
Love and Amat with Stuani? Playing with fire.
Looks good otherwise.
Maybe Stuani > Diamande to free up some cash
Mahrez > Payet or Ozil in coming weeks.
I'm interested in Bolasie. Do you think he is worth a spot?
Thoughts on Barkley?
I definitely agree with all you say. The Mahrez move will be inevitable. Probably Payet.
I want Arsenal also but will probably result in an Ibra downgrade.
