Think some Boro fans find it a little weird tbh. Ayala and Gibson are easily the best centre backs and even Espinosa had a good rep in Spain for Sporting Gijon. I don't see Chambers getting in as first choice here.
Barragan has shown he's useful at centre back and left back but is actually a right back. I think this is where Chambers fits in - right back covering centre back positions.
I think this means Nsue has either now lost his position or could now be OOP on the right wing but as a squad player.
Jaezz is right, I'd opt for Friend anyway as he's the same price and has great BAP potential. His competition is an injured Fabio whereas Chambers just has too much but why would Arsenal loan him out if he's benched? Strange one.
