He’s gone. Aguero has been shown the door, at least by myself, Jonty and Andy.

But Granville had to be different.

The revitalised ScoutCast shock-jockey simply had to go against the grain and choose to bench the Argentine.

He’s also refusing to play his Wildcard, challenging us to persuade him over the course of this episode.

Do we succeed in tipping him over the edge? You’ll have to listen in and find out.

In doing so, you’ll hear the four of us address a barrage of Wildcard fuelled questions from you, the Community, as we tackle subjects such as the Arsenal midfield conundrum, Payet vs Antonio and survey the options when it comes to cheap enablers.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via YouTube on Tuesday evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        Jaku/Kasper
        Valencia/Williams/Friend/Amat
        Hazard/Bolasie/Redmond/Ramirez/Capoue
        Costa/Ibra/Vardy

When fixtures change and form becomes apparent those with a WC can adjust much easier.

It's too early. It's literally a gamble at this point, not enough evidence to suggest who is a better pick out of Ozil/Sanchez or Costa/Lukaku ect. It will be a real pain bringing those players in and bringing in Aguero. I think current WC's will be taking some point hits in a few weeks! 🙂

That is true, but if you plan accordingly you shouldn't need to take hits unless you get injuries

True, but you really can't "plan" for how West Ham will line up, or which mid-priced forward is worth having, or if Pickford will retain his spot, etc. That's why those waiting a few more weeks to wildcard could be in a far more advantageous spot.

Which gameweek do you think will be best to wildcard in to garner the most team value. I'm thinking lots of people wildcarded this week, another large % will wildcard week 6 when Aguero is back so thinking week 8 will see lots of transfer activity but not as much wildcard usage?

Hazard/Costa better options. If Chelsea go 5 at the back forward players like Willian will be under pressure.

Guys like Pickford/Jaku will lose team value very shortly when dropped. If you are on wildcard (I assume you are) I would want 2 decent playing keepers to cover the inevitable injury and tough away matches.

I disagree, I'm pretty happy I started with them...at 9.0 It's been shown that rotating keepers pays off more than getting "set it and forget it" 5.5 keeper.

Ordinarily he'd be a decent 4th mid, but Watford's 3-5-2 formation looks awful and Ighalo and Deeney look absolutely lost. So wouldn't count on Peyrera doing anything much

None, just play Heaton every week.

will the target (fplstatistics) on Shaw drop to 0 once the flag is removed?

I noticed my cool Friend was reset to 0 after the flag removal (I think he was -90% or something beforehand).

Yeah he will. I have Kone and he was 98.9% for a drop but played week 3 after his "back injury" and transfers reset to 0 when flag removed.

I knew it resets negative target tbh, wasn't sure about the positive.

People with Shaw should rage-quit 🙂

Captain Lukaku is a brave one. That's not for me having him is enough of a risk.

I'm willing to take some risks in a week where (C) choices are not obvious.
What you think about Moyes vs Everton? Could Moyes be a problem?

Maybe the next two weeks are best time to punt on captain but the guy has not scored sine March or April. Did not even consider Moyes factor would not put me off a captain choice.

              Foster Pickford
              Valencia Williams Kone Evans Amat
              Hazard Sanchez Antonio Puncheon Capoue
              Ibra Costa Lukaku

Nah. All depends on what happens in the next 2 weeks. Could remove Costa Lukaku and a mid for -4 to get in Kun if Ibra is performing

So now my team for the GW:

    GK: De Gea
    DEF: Baines/ Valencia/ Collins/ McAuley
    MID: Sanchez/ Sterling/ Hazard/ Antonio
    ATK: Lukaku/ Costa
    SUB: Heaton/ Holgate/ Capoue/ Stuani

Good to go, or any transfer I could make?
Also, Hazard, Sanchez or Lukaku captain?

If on a WC DeGea is the first man out for me....followed by Colgate and Stuani...If not on a WC you're good

Why not start Stuani ahead of Collins?
I captained Luks. Hazard is the popular pick.
