He’s gone. Aguero has been shown the door, at least by myself, Jonty and Andy.

But Granville had to be different.

The revitalised ScoutCast shock-jockey simply had to go against the grain and choose to bench the Argentine.

He’s also refusing to play his Wildcard, challenging us to persuade him over the course of this episode.

Do we succeed in tipping him over the edge? You’ll have to listen in and find out.

In doing so, you’ll hear the four of us address a barrage of Wildcard fuelled questions from you, the Community, as we tackle subjects such as the Arsenal midfield conundrum, Payet vs Antonio and survey the options when it comes to cheap enablers.

I have a feeling us that haven't wildcarded will have the last laugh! 🙂

What's your team looking like now?

      1. RᴀᴄɪɴɢTᴏᴀᴅ
        10 years, 1 month ago

        Jaku/Kasper
        Valencia/Williams/Friend/Amat
        Hazard/Bolasie/Redmond/Ramirez/Capoue
        Costa/Ibra/Vardy

      In what way exactly?

      1. COYS Down Under

When fixtures change and form becomes apparent those with a WC can adjust much easier.

      2. RᴀᴄɪɴɢTᴏᴀᴅ

It's too early. It's literally a gamble at this point, not enough evidence to suggest who is a better pick out of Ozil/Sanchez or Costa/Lukaku ect. It will be a real pain bringing those players in and bringing in Aguero. I think current WC's will be taking some point hits in a few weeks! 🙂

        1. Kante Be Bothered
          10 years, 1 month ago

That is true, but if you plan accordingly you shouldn't need to take hits unless you get injuries

True, but you really can't "plan" for how West Ham will line up, or which mid-priced forward is worth having, or if Pickford will retain his spot, etc. That's why those waiting a few more weeks to wildcard could be in a far more advantageous spot.

Which gameweek do you think will be best to wildcard in to garner the most team value. I'm thinking lots of people wildcarded this week, another large % will wildcard week 6 when Aguero is back so thinking week 8 will see lots of transfer activity but not as much wildcard usage?

  4. knirkefritt

Why no love for Willian on this site?

    1. mccormibar

Hazard/Costa better options. If Chelsea go 5 at the back forward players like Willian will be under pressure.

No, FWIW I'm using Foster as a fire-and-forget option this season. Pickford my backup

      1. mccormibar
        10 years, 1 month ago

Guys like Pickford/Jaku will lose team value very shortly when dropped. If you are on wildcard (I assume you are) I would want 2 decent playing keepers to cover the inevitable injury and tough away matches.

            10 years, 1 month ago

I disagree, I'm pretty happy I started with them...at 9.0 It's been shown that rotating keepers pays off more than getting "set it and forget it" 5.5 keeper.

    6. Joggers Nipple

No, just play your one 4.5 every week. Points always lost on rotation

    Foster

Ordinarily he'd be a decent 4th mid, but Watford's 3-5-2 formation looks awful and Ighalo and Deeney look absolutely lost. So wouldn't count on Peyrera doing anything much

    Foster/Jakop
    Williams/Valencia/ Friend/ Kone/ Amat
    Hazard/ Ozil/ Antonio/ Sterling/ Capoue
    Ibra/ Lukaku/Benteke
    0.6 itb

    Final decsion on the WC.

    Williams/Firmino/Defoe
    or
    Baines/Sterling/Zaza,Deeney or another 7m?

or if you can find 0.3 in this? Then I can have Baines/Firmino/Defoe

    Foster/Heaton
    Evans/Valencia/Holebas/Amat/Williams
    Sanchez/Hazard/Antonio/Sterling/Capoue
    Ibra/Tekkers/Defoe

    1. Joggers Nipple

Foster to 4.0 for the money
      if not the
Baines, Sterling, Zaza one (could baines be Williams in this for the cash?)

      1. Jape
        10 years, 1 month ago

What 4.0 keeper is nailed though?

        1. Joggers Nipple
          10 years, 1 month ago

None, just play Heaton every week.
So early in the game and team values low. Get the cash on the pitch, when TV up then spread it out a bit.

              It's coming together. Something like-
              Foster Pickford
              Valencia Williams Kone Evans Amat
              Hazard Sanchez Antonio Puncheon Capoue
              Ibra Costa Lukaku

Looks good to me. Any money in the bank?
Or are you in the Ibra to Kun club? 🙂

Nah. All depends on what happens in the next 2 weeks. Could remove Costa Lukaku and a mid for -4 to get in Kun if Ibra is performing

Yeah, Sanchez usually fizzles out after a few good hauls.

That is true. I am putting the armband on him this week and probably the next as well

So now my team for the GW:

    GK: De Gea
    DEF: Baines/ Valencia/ Collins/ McAuley
    MID: Sanchez/ Sterling/ Hazard/ Antonio
    ATK: Lukaku/ Costa
    SUB: Heaton/ Holgate/ Capoue/ Stuani

Good to go, or any transfer I could make?
Also, Hazard, Sanchez or Lukaku captain?

    1. Jape
      10 years, 1 month ago

No Ibra could hurt you big time. Other than that looks good to go!

I admit it's a huge fail in the team but I wanna reforce the midfield this week. But should I put hazard or sanchez as a captain?

If on a WC DeGea is the first man out for me....followed by Colgate and Stuani...If not on a WC you're good

Why not start Stuani ahead of Collins?
I captained Luks. Hazard is the popular pick.

Stuani for Collins? Sounds good, I think I'll do it
