With the international break over and done with, it’s time to turn our attention to Gameweek 4. In particular, it’s a good opportunity to take a look at two team-mates who are currently carving out their international reputations.

West Ham hero Dimitri Payet delighted the French public with his virtuoso performances in Euro 2016, while Michail Antonio got his first taste of life as an England squad member when Sam Allardyce called him up for the Slovakia match.

Both are likely starters against Watford this weekend and, given West Ham’s obliging schedule to come, have to be firmly on our radar.

Antonio’s price point has us favouring the former Nottingham Forest winger in our Watchlist but Payet’s quality cannot be overlooked.

Have we been hasty to ignore the Frenchman’s brilliance? Let’s look deeper into the numbers.

    Repost

Hey guys, I have a few questions I'd like some help with. I am on my WC btw.

I brought in Costa, Sanchez and Hazard temporarily to avoid price rises. I have Ibra from before too.

I really want to keep Sanchez but I'll switch to Ozil last minute if Sanchez is going to be benched. Right strategy?

I'm not convinced by Hazard. Everyone on a WC seems to be getting him but the fact that he has 3/4 away in the next 4 and his relatively poor away record puts me off. I think Costa is way better both for his solid record vs. Swansea and his superior value. Is risking not having Hazard worth it?

The other thing is the amount of money taken up by having so many big hitters. By dropping Hazard, I can fit in some nice mid-tier players like Sterling and Barkley. Also, it saves me getting too many crappy defenders with little point potential.

    proposed team:

    Heaton (Pickford)
    Evans Walker Baines (Collins Kingsley)
    Barkley Sanchez Antonio Sterling (Capoue)
    Ibra Negredo Costa

    Feedback appreciated, thanks

Morning, Gents. I'd appreciate your view on my team (wc active):

    Heaton - Jakupovic

Collins - Valencia - Williams - Kone- Evans

    Hazard - Sanchez - Antonio - Bolasie - Capoue

    Ibra - Lukaku - Benteke

Enough money in the bank to do sanchez/lukaku to aguero/cazorla if I want later.

      Nice team!
Hopefully bolasie doesnt troll you, as he has for me multiple times

Oh, and when you get Kun, get someone other than Cazorla

    A) Koscielny - Özil - Zaza - (Fletcher)

    or

    B) Williams - Payet - Walcott - (Stuani)

    ?

I wouldn't mind A (with Gray, don't trust Zaza yet)

Gotta be Haz and Ibra vc for me. Swansea looking dire and Ibra dying to score against the big clubs

Hazard because of his form and Swansea look poor

      Costa, in great form atm

      Zlatan
Why? : Despite it being at home, Saints can be a tough fixture, mixed with those subtle doubts about if Sanchez plays 90.
Haz often doesn't turn up to away games

Mourinho is playing at home. Zlatan got 2 last home game. Zlatan may want to prove a point. Finally, I rate Stones as a ball playing defender, but his attributes purely defensively are poor imo

    5. AA33

      Hazard because
      He is in form
      No Williams for Swansea
An extra day of rest after coming from national duty and no European games as in the case of Sanchez

Mané. Form (2 goals in 2 games, one wrongly disallowed, though), fixture (should be a goal fest) and an extra factor - fist game in front of a bigger crowd.

He's 50% better at home, but he isn't awful when away.
        In 2014/15 he scored 138 in 19 home matches (7.3ppg) and 95 in 19 aways (5.0ppg).

Hazard; new acquisition for me, form, poor opponent, pens, up there on shots stats too...

More reliable than Costa. Gray tempts me though Hull could well grind out an away draw as this is the sort of game they need not to lose.

Ibra, because FFS is messing with our minds - Haz and Alexis: poor away / may not start - and I like United 🙂

Going for Hazard and have actually replaced Sanchez for Ozil.
I know this has happened before, but I do think Wenger will be more cautious with Sanchez after his injury last year.
With PSG looming, I cannot see 90 mins for the Chilean. Plus he might genuinely be not 100%... and Haz has had more of a rest, against a worst team and is arguably back to his best form of a few years ago.

      Ibra.

The bigger the game, the bigger the player. Just can't see Utd losing.

Was on Hazard all week but all this evidence circulating on here about his away form has put me off him.

Was going to go Sanchez but worried about his pitch time and Southampton not conceding many chances. Going for Costa now.

I know this has been asked before but I'd like to ask it again, with the difference that I'm only interested in hearing answers from those who OWN BOTH Hazard and Sanchez (have an iffy feeling most of the Hazard sayers actually don't own Sanchez and therefore have a bias).

So with that in mind, S och H?

    1. Kante Be Bothered

      Ah, toughie
I've put Ibra captain, but own them 2 as well
Between them I'll probably go Haz today

Arsenal have a lot of other firepower playing today (walcott, ozil giroud); for chelsea most things involve Haz/Costa
