Saturday’s events come to a close at Goodison Park with Ronald Koeman’s upwardly mobile Everton side hosting Middlesbrough.

Frankly, this match is all about Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian exploded a dramatic 11-minute hat-trick just six days ago at Sunderland and heads into the tea-time encounter backed by almost 250,000 new owners, with 6% handing him the captaincy.

Koeman’s side will be bidding for a fourth straight victory and a third consecutive clean sheet.

Middlesbrough’s task looks tough, then, having suffered a home reverse in Gameweek 4 at the hands of Crystal Palace.

Alvaro Negredo goes into the contest desperate for a goal having blanked in his last three. Having soared early on as a Fantasy Premier League transfer target, he’s been hemorrhaging owners for the past three Gameweeks, losing 164,000 heading into Friday’s deadline.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Is KDB worth it?
He seems to play deeper when Aguero is playing.

I would rather have Sanchez if you can afford it. Sterling or Hazard as well!

This, think he will return less points when Kun is in the side, i.e. if Kun gets injured that would be the best time to own KDB

If I remember from previous times a goal was given that wasn't really a goal, the FPL points stayed the same, but the official stats changed

    Might happen again with Lukaku?

    ?

  11. Giovanni Giorgio
    • 12 Years
    9 years, 5 months ago

So I bought Firmino at 8.5 and he's fallen to 8.4 now. If I sell him for 8.4 and instantly bring him back in (I'm on WC) can I resell him with a 0.1 gain if he hits 8.6 again? And if I don't he has to hit 8.7 for me to gain 0.1? Or do I have it figured out wrong here?

    1. Karmanya
      • 14 Years
      9 years, 5 months ago

Purchased Price and Selling Price are what matter. If you buy him at 8.4 and he hits 8.6, you get the 0.1!

If you keep him, he has to hit 8.7 for you to get the 0.1 extra.

      1. Giovanni Giorgio
        • 12 Years
        9 years, 5 months ago

So there is basically no upside to not do the transfer and than bring him back in?

Misunderstood. Too tired to correct though...

    3. Coaly
      • 13 Years
      9 years, 5 months ago

Why would you sell him and buy back? Makes no sense

If you keep and he rises to 8.5 you can sell for 8.5

If you sell and buy back, he has to rise to 8.6 for you to sell for 8.5

    4. Obi-1 Kenobi-0
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 5 months ago

If you sell him now, you'll lose 0.1 on your investment.

If you sell him once he's back up to 8.5, you'll lose nothing on your investment.

If you sell him once he's 8.7, you'll gain 0.1 on your investment.

If you sell him now, and buy him back straight away, you'll lose nothing on your investment once he reaches 8.6.

Watching the game b/n Borussia M. and Werder Bremen, I said it before (during the Olympics) and I will say it again - Arsenal lost a great talent in Gnabry.

There is a myth that Wenger is great at developing youth, is he though? Gnabry is just another example of players that did not fulfill their potential at Arsenal under Wenger, along with the likes of Chambers, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Wilshere, Vela etc. Not sure where does the myth come from but it's obviously far from truth.

Good for Gnabry that he left before it was too late.
