Saturday’s events come to a close at Goodison Park with Ronald Koeman’s upwardly mobile Everton side hosting Middlesbrough.

Frankly, this match is all about Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian exploded a dramatic 11-minute hat-trick just six days ago at Sunderland and heads into the tea-time encounter backed by almost 250,000 new owners, with 6% handing him the captaincy.

Koeman’s side will be bidding for a fourth straight victory and a third consecutive clean sheet.

Middlesbrough’s task looks tough, then, having suffered a home reverse in Gameweek 4 at the hands of Crystal Palace.

Alvaro Negredo goes into the contest desperate for a goal having blanked in his last three. Having soared early on as a Fantasy Premier League transfer target, he’s been hemorrhaging owners for the past three Gameweeks, losing 164,000 heading into Friday’s deadline.

        Looking at selling Benteke to get Aguero back but it will involve a hit.

        Hypothetically, is it worth waiting an extra week? So, playing Benteke v Sunderland next week and then selling after for Aguero with a FT rather than taking -4?

          Time for the inevitable reshuffling to get aguero back, fairly adverse in taking hits, but am weighing up the following:

          A. Benteke, Hazard, Ozil out for Aguero, Firmino & Snoddy (-4)

          Or

          B. Benteke, Hazard, Ozil, Collins out for Aguero, Firmino, Bolasie & Pieters (-8)

          Am .2 mill short in the first option of getting Bolasie, figure Collins will loose his place soon and Pieters has some half decent fixtures coming up

          So, A or B?

                Not really set in stone yet but adjusting the team around Kun Lukaku Sanchez KDB & a Liverpool mid. And super Snodgrass has to be in there too. Really cheap defence however.

          Think I'll go cheap in defense - no defenses stand out anyway. May downgrade Ibra and or Lukaku (Costa and or Benteke) to upgrade Fletcher or one defnder though.

              2 assists in 3 games with Kun
              2 goals and 2 assists in 2 games without.

              Not that I fully buy into it, but it's possible he's had to put more in these last two matches with Aguero missing. Certainly has looked far better.

                Incredibly small sample though. And the obvious explanation would be that he's built up his form and fitness after the summer tournament.

                Although the Gladbach match wasn't as outstanding as his last 2 in PL, and fitness and form shouldn't be an issue as it was right in between of those PL matches.

                And there could be a little something in Nacho perhaps being less selfish than Kun. What I mean is that he hogs less the shots and dribbles less, but produces about 3 chances in the time that Kun produces one. It could be that KDB is getting more and better shots with Nacho than Kun because of a difference of style.

                  I definitely accept it's a small sample, but it's all we have to go by.

                  I agree on the Nacho point, and what I've sometimes found with City/teams that have an absolute star like Aguero is that when they're missing, other players need to dig in. When Kun is in the team, it can be easy not to give it 100% because, at the end of the day, Aguero can win a match out of thin air. Without him, the likes of KDB, a player I do believe fluctuates in form very easily, is forced to up his performance.

                  That's just my sense of it though, I've not really looked into it. It's just from seeing KDB's play now vs when Kun has been in the team.
