Dugout Discussion – Tottenham vs Sunderland

A busy Sunday of football comes to its conclusion at White Hart Lane as Spurs and Sunderland go head-to-head in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The hosts’ 4-0 win over Stoke last weekend boosted out faith in the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, yet their midweek Champions League loss to Monaco at Wembley suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side have yet to hit top gear.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela owners are left cursing their luck after the duo were named amongst the subs, with Mousa Dembele returning to the XI following a six-match suspension.

Certainly, the home side will be buoyed by their visitors’ second-half capitulation at home to Everton on Monday night.

The Black Cats have yet to win under David Moyes and, considering their current form, may well be lucky to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season.

    Assuming Costa rises 0.1m and Hazard falls 0.1m and Aguero stays at 12.9m I have the exact funds to do:

    Hazard > Sanchez (no other Arsenal 'cover;)
    and
    Costa > Aguero (I have Sterling already)

    Both would be for a hit, needed to use FT to fix elsewhere.

    Evening All,

    I hope everyone had a decent game week. I for one regret my transfers this week game week. I took out sanchez and costa and Diomande for Kane Vardy and Barry minus 8. I benched Barry he scored which normally once a season. Didn't end to bad final gw points 67pts can't complain. Thinking ahead to next game I'm thinking of doing the following bring back Sanchez for Hazard and Deeney for Kane and Vardy for Aguero minus 8.

      My opinion.
      Capoue 4th mid, especially with those upcoming fixtures.
      WC, yes. Good week to catch some price rises to build up your team value - then chose your final WC team before the deadline.

    OK, I'm thinking Lamela, Hazard and Ibra to Mane, Sterling and Aguero.

    Pretty happy with those moves, despite it being a -4 and having to make the moves so early due to price rises.
