Romelu Lukaku is set to return to full training ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. Olivier Giroud remains doubtful as Arsenal host Chelsea, whilst Daniel Sturridge is a slight concern for Liverpool’s Anfield encounter with Hull.

Here’s the team news so far…

Olivier Giroud faces a late test on his ongoing toe complaint ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea. Arsene Wenger has also conceded that Aaron Ramsey looks set to remain sidelined until after the international break.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are available for Liverpool’s home match with Hull after both were left out of the midweek trip to Derby as precautionary measures. Jurgen Klopp revealed Daniel Sturridge “should” be available after missing three days’ training, whilst Joe Gomez has stepped up his recovery from injury but is not yet fit for selection.

Xherdan Shaqiri has stepped up his recovery by returning to training ahead of Stoke’s clash with West Brom. Mark Hughes confirmed the Swiss international will be assessed after being sidelined since Gameweek 1. Jon Walters is a doubt for tomorrow after missing the midweek cup loss to Hull due to an ankle problem.

Middlesbrough pair Christhian Stuani and Jordan Rhodes have both recovered from minor injuries and are available to face Spurs at the Riverside.

Kasper Schmeichel has recovered from concussion but remains a minor doubt for Leicester’s trip to United with a muscle problem. Nampalys Mendy and Matty James are still sidelined and Marcin Wasilewski is suspended after being dismissed in the midweek cup loss to Chelsea.

Winston Reid has been passed fit by the West Ham medics ahead of Sunday’s encounter with Southampton.

Scott Dann has been ruled out of Palace’s clash with Sunderland, with Alan Pardew revealing he could also miss the Gameweek 7 encounter against Everton. James Tomkins is available, though, after recovering from the knee problem that forced him off against Stoke on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman expects Romelu Lukaku to return to full training today ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. The Belgian has stepped up his recovery from the toe injury that forced him off in the home win over ‘Boro. James McCarthy and Darron Gibson should return in around three weeks.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Bring in Pickford to free funds up in MF, currently have Heaton and Foster - which to drop? Foster dovetails well with Pickford home and away for next 3 weeks but then clash afterward whereas Heaton is exactly the opposite. £0.1M more freed from selling Foster but is he a better long term bet?

Who is the better pick over the next 6 GWs:

    a) Sterling

Might need to lose one to keep Ibra whilst getting Sanchez + Aguero.

If you have Aguero I think Antonio is the better option.

Will Sterling's points be different if Mr. Deppman has Aguero or not? What's your point?

I just think Aguero tends to hog City attacking points. With that, Antonio playing well, Payet coming back to his best and West Hams fixtures I would pick him.

If he doesn't have Aguero (which would be madness) you need some City attacking coverage so would pick Sterling.

    Afternoon lads.

On wc, this is the team.

    Foster jaku

    Coleman fuchs kelly love amat

    Sanchez KDB sterling antonio capoue

    Aguero lukaku diomande

Im thinking about 3 5 2 for the next 4 or 5, iv caught kdbs double rise. Looking at kdb to payet and antonio to firmino, love to holebas.

    Thoughts?

I'm looking at 3-5-2 also. So many great midfield options floating about that I think it's a great choice. I've tried to upgrade Capoue whilst playing 3-5-2 though as you'll have to play him every week. Just think we've missed the boat on him. Looks strong though.

    A) Baines and McAuley
    B) Walker and Evans

Torn as not sure if Baines is on penalties and a few are concerned about Walker being rotated.

Nearly done on my wildcard, defence is pretty flakey but they should all play and clean sheet are limited so far so tempted to chance it.

Any suggestions for where it could be improved?

    Pickford / heaton

    Kone / Evans / Williams / Amat / Zuniga

Chadli / De Bruyne / Snodrgass / Firmino / Capoue

    Aguero / Ibra / Lukaku

    nothing in the bank.

It's not great. but neither is mine and I have the same front 3 so I don't see what other options you have. My plan is to hold onto Ibra for 2 more games and then reassess after that.

I was thinking that also. It's much easier to downgrade then it would be to take him out on a wildcard and then have to try and get him back in.

What's your team out of interest?

Zuniga is a bit of a risk. He can play on the right so there is a chance he will take Janmaat's place while out but nothing certain.

yep definitely. Looks like i'm chasing last weeks points but the thinking was that maybe he'll take Janmaats place.

He isn't "suddenly" scoring. He's a very good player and has played very well whenever he's actually been given an opportunity.
He was played at right back earlier on in the season though, so less opportunities.

No, it is sudden. He is 3 goals away from equalling his total last year having played less than 25% of the minutes!

it is not sudden - look at his form last season too, especially at the tail end. Look at his form when playing right wing last season.

He's always been a very good player mate. I'm a Forest fan and I watched him every week for us. (Can't believe we let him go for 7mil)
Yes he's scored 5 in 5 so far but unless he gets 38 league goals this season then that isn't going to continue.

Antonio has started 28 premier league games and has scored 13 goals and made 3. And a chunk of those appearances were at right back. He is a must for WCs imo in an attacking West Ham set up.

I'm looking at Sterling, Mane, Firmino, Antonio, Aguero, Lukaku and Benteke from next week onwards (on Ozil instead of Firm currently).

    B) Williams, Gibson, McNair, Ibra

Rest of the defence is Lovren and Amat.

I am gravitating towards A, but Ibra's Stoke fixture next GW scares the poop out of me. Like I almost hope for an Agüero hammy, just to make the selection easier.

Think I've decided on my strategy for Ibra-Sanchez : Postpone Sanchez until GW8/9, and go with Lukaku+Ibra + Sterling in the meantime:

    Heaton- Pickford
    Coleman - Kelly - Kone - Holebas - Amat
    Sterling - Firmino - Antonio - Capoue - Snodgrass
    Kun - Lukaku - Ibra

I've taken that thought one (risky) step further and gone KdB + Rashford, with a view to swtiching to Sanchez and maybe Deeney in a couple of weeks.

        Certainly also a valid route

    Costa, Sanchez, Hazard
    to
    A) Aguero, KDB, Lallana
    B) Aguero, Sterling, Firmino/Cout/Mane?

Number one rule of fpl: don't buy defensive midfielders

Chelsea fan here : Don't get Kante :p
play Capoue as your 4th mid has good fixtures
Maybe Snodgrass if you can afford him
      Otherwise definitely Aguero > KDB
