The wise counsel of Paddy Power is back to guide us to learned teamsheet decisions with a hearty slice of anytime scorer and clean sheet odds thrown in.

And there’s more than a few tempting deals for new customers on offer this week from Paddy, although not quite as tasty as the one Paul Hollywood’s squeezed out of Channel 4.

Leicester might only have one away win to their name this season – the movie reference that is in Bruges – but the 16-1 on offer for them to beat United could make you a killing. You can also get 5-1 on the United win.

There’s also 16-1 available for a treble on Spurs, Everton and Liverpool all to win – generous indeed for a trio in such prime form.

If you’re intent on watching this evening’s kick-off, wincing with every Diego Costa challenge, you can spice things up further with odds of 8/1 on an Arsenal win or 10/1 on a triumph for Antonio Conte’s men.

Five league matches, five wins – no-one’s in better form than Man City, so 5-1 on them beating Swansea looks more than doable, while Southampton at West Ham could go either way, but 8-1 for the Saints to march away with a victory is well worth a look.

Be sure to check the terms and conditions on all those offers and, of course, we should state that all these specials are only available to those aged 18. If you’re going to wager, always gamble responsibly.

And so on to the meat in your Paddy pie.

ANYTIME GOALSCORER ODDS – GAMEWEEK 6

Player Team Odds
Aguero MCI 1.53
Ibrahimovic MUN 1.90
Origi LIV 1.90
Mane LIV 1.90
De Bruyne MCI 2.10
Firmino LIV 2.10
Iheanacho MCI 2.10
Coutinho LIV 2.25
Lukaku EVE 2.25
Ighalo WAT 2.40
Janssen TOT 2.40
Costa CHE 2.40
Benteke CRY 2.50
Giroud ARS 2.50
Austin SOT 2.50
Deeney WAT 2.62
Iwobi ARS 2.70
Sanchez ARS 2.70
Rashford MUN 2.80
Bony STK 2.80

He’s back and his odds are as short as his legs. Yep, Sergio Aguero (1.53) returns from his three-match ban primed and ready to add to his three league goals for the season and maybe cost Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin his job while he’s about it.

If you fancy your legs longer (and ego bigger), Zlatan (1.90) will be looking to punish a Leicester defence that’s coughed up five goals in two away matches so far. Marcus Rashford (2.80) is a longer shot but he’s on it – a goal in his first league start last time out and another in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Romelu Lukaku (2.25) also has form on his side, and Bournemouth in his sights. The big Belgian has four goals in two matches which, coincidentally, is the same amount (from the same matches) that the Cherries have shipped at home.

And never discount Diego Costa (2.50) against Arsenal. He might be about as welcome at the Emirates as a Fancy Bear at an NHS data protection meeting, but he’s got five in five in the league and after getting most of the Gunners sent off last season, fate almost demands that he’ll do more damage this afternoon.

CLEAN SHEET ODDS – GAMEWEEK 6

Team Odds
Liverpool 1.72
Manchester City 2.10
Manchester United 2.29
Tottenham 2.50
Stoke 2.70
Everton 2.70
Watford 2.87
Crystal Palace 3.10
Burnley 3.10
Sunderland 3.20

Clean sheets have been a bit of a rarity this season and the odds reflect it.

Man City (2.10) have managed just the one so far, in last week’s mauling of Bournemouth, but Swansea are averaging less than a goal a game and have already drawn two blanks, one of which was at home.

United have two shut-outs to their name but have conceded five in their last two matches, so 2.29 looks a bit meagre for visit of Leicester. The Foxes might have failed to win on the road in the league, but they’ve not failed to score in either defeat.

Everton (2.70) have won three in a row, and two of them involved clean sheets, so they look a more attractive proposition, particularly against a Bournemouth outfit with just three goals to their name.

And Burnley have kept things tight at home – one clean sheet and just two goals conceded in three matches – so their 3.10 price is tempting. If they can stop the ten-goal Watford juggernaut, that is.

Having a dilemma, need to drop one of:

    Sanchez (Che, H)
    Sterling (Swa, A)
    Antonio (Sou, H)
    Firmino (Hul, H)
    Capone (Bur, A)
    Deeney (Bur, A)
    Ibrahimovic (Lei, H)
    Lukaku (Bou, A)

And no, all out attack I've already played. Suggestions?

    Heaton - (Pickford)
    Walker - Williams - McAuley - (Holebas) - (Amat)
    Sanchez - Firmino - Sterling - Antonio - (Marney)
    Aguero - Lukaku - Rashford

Hope my Rashford punt pays off - thanks in advance...

Dont see why it would end badly? As you say can switch to Deeney.

Fwiw I got same front 7 and think Rashford will be a sure starter now. Martial out and doubts on Rooney fitness. Jose needs goals and pace in attack

Watching all our games this season, Rashford adds something different. he runs with the ball and has no fear. If he starts its a no brainer.

Antonio scores goals because he has a lot of chances, Capoue scores goals because he converts all of his few chances. Not rocket science to guess who has the best chance of sustaining the form so why arev so many asking which to bench? 😕

With Ibras .1 drop, palace fixtures and all things going well this GW, after the GW contemplating either:

A: Tekkers and Sanchez to Ibra and Firmino (although arsenal fixtures look epic)

Or just B: benteke to Slimani

Probably b. Best laid plans. Let's see what happens.
