The Dugout Discussion – West Ham United vs Southampton

After Saturday treated us to eight matches and 29 goals, we have just a solitary fixture to focus our attentions on today.

West Ham welcome Southampton to the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic attempts to halt a run of three straight Premier League losses.

Both sides chalked up EFL Cup wins in midweek, yet while the Saints saw off Palace to rack up a third successive victory in all competitions, the Hammers had to rely on a last-minute free-kick from Dimitri Payet to see off Accrington Stanley.

With a pair of assists in each of the last two Gameweeks, the Frenchman has been in fine form since returning from injury.

Nonetheless, Payet has remained overlooked by many Fantasy managers due to the form of Michail Antonio, who has netted five times in four since being moved onto the flank.

With his defence in disarray, Bilic will be relying on that duo to get the better of a Saints side that have picked up a single point in their two road trips so far.

For the Saints, Nathan Redmond remains their most popular FPL asset despite a four-match barren streak, though Dusan Tadic is the form player heading into this one, having served up an assist in each of the last two Gameweeks.

Ignoring FPL pts....Antonio is actually a bit rubbish as a player....

Many good fpl players have been far from the best footballers - and vice versa!

It's true. He's a bit of a headless chicken. Luckily he knows where the net is.

Good at going forward. Dire at tracking back and defending. Which is weird considering he was getting played at RB for a bit.

few names being thrown around as replacements:
    Mane
    Sanchez

Is there much between Koscielny and Bellerin besides the .5 price?

Bell gets alot more forward during the run of play. More chance for assists. Kosc the bigger set piece threat.

If money wasn't an object, I'd get Bellerin

Yes went for Koscienly only because Bellerin was -96% before deadline and didn't fall. And regreted it.

Get bellerin if u can afford ARS defence. 0.5 worth it.

Personally i wouldnt get a 6.0 defender. I dnt see any player worth it atm
