The Dugout Discussion – Burnley vs Arsenal

Gameweek 7 comes to its conclusion as Burnley welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor.

The Gunners roll up on the back of four straight league wins, with Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott both in fine recent form.

The Chilean teed up Walcott’s pair of strikes in the midweek Champions League win over FC Basel and with three double-figure hauls in four, carries the armband hopes of many at Turf Moor.

Walcott has now notched five times in seven across all competitions and has risen to 6% ownership in Fantasy Premier League.

Another big performance today would surely kick start a bandwagon over the international break, yet Arsene Wenger’s side face an obstinate Clarets rearguard that has conceded just five goals in the previous 17 league matches in front of their own supporters.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Going to say no as he's too reliant on pens for points, still a reverse oop player at the end of the day.

Ox kicked Kosc, not the ball. I don't think there's any mistake by FPL Towers here. Maybe by the ref in allowing the goal to stand, but that's not FPL Towers' fault.

“The goalkeeper will remain on Wearside for treatment but may link up with the Three Lions squad later this week.

“Brighton keeper Christian Walton has been called into the squad ahead of Thursday night’s game in Kazakhstan.”

The injury doesn’t appear too serious, but the Black Cats will hope he is fit to take on Stoke City in two weeks time, with deadline day signing Mika in line to make his Sunderland debut should he fail to recover in time.

Mentioned a week or two ago I was thinking of doubling up on Spurs defenders in a way reminicant of Southamptons Clyne and Bertrand a couple of years ago. (was poch te manager for them then too?) This confirms it today. Also Zlats ran out of time for me and Im thinking of ditching Capoue...just because he has only acored 4 points since I made him my starter. Chadlii is temping me as a replacement. I'm not even mentioning Stones name anymore this season as an option.

Willing to sell Redmond and Antonio. 1 FT, 4.4 ITB

    A) Antonio -> Sanchez, keep Redmond
    B) Antonio -> Walcott and Redmond -> Son for a hit
    C) Redmond -> Walcott, keep Antonio

Can't afford both Sanchez and Son. Also have Lallana, so if his injury his serious, could maybe remove him and keep Antonio :/

    Cheers

1.) This is not Wallcot assist
    2.) This is Oxlada-Chamberlain Assist
    3.) This was handball goal
4.) Kosc touched the ball after Oxlade-Chamberlin and that means it was offside goal
5.) If you have Kosc you are very happy manager right now.
