Sunday’s events get off to a rather inauspicious start, with a Riverside Stadium encounter somewhat bereft of Fantasy interest.

Middlesbrough take on Watford in the lunchtime clash and, despite Alvaro Negredo heading into the match with more than 17% ownership; it’s a good bet that many of those FPL managers have long since taken their hands off their teams.

Negredo is recalled to the ‘Boro starting line-up as he looks to break a run of five Premier League appearances without a goal or an assist.

There is certainly more interest in the Hornets’ assets, with Troy Deeney presenting arguably the most likely source of points in today’s encounter.

The Watford skipper has notched three goals in his last four and leads the line backed by 8.2% ownership.

We’ll also be monitoring the progress of Jose Holebas at left wing-back, with the Greek still just a single yellow card away from a one-match ban.

Equally, Issac Success’ performance will be of interest – the Nigerian ousts his compatriot Odion Ighalo to the bench today to take his place in what looks to be a 3-5-2 setup from Walter Mazzarri.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

This is turning into a really good week for me, 61 points so far with Coutinho and Firmino to come tomorrow.

For the first time this season I don't feel the need to change anyone out (subject to injuries tomorrow) and can carry a FT. I'm chuffed!

Going by the flow of this gameweek, Holebas will have a brace like Allen and Walcott. Deeney to miss a penalty.

Would you recommend getting a Bournemouth defender?

If so, is Daniels the best pick?

I'd go Smith, just because he's cheaper and they are similar attacking wise

    2. The Bandit

Smith taking cost into account imo

    3. SAY SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT

I have Smith for price. I love Daniels, had him last season, probably the better choice if money is no issue.

    4. JÆKS ⭐
      • 11 Years

      Smith is cheaper though

    5. Z
      • 9 Years

Smith at 4.7 and Daniels at 4.9, flip a coin.
Daniels seems to be far down on the pecking order for Pens now. That's the main reason for his haul last season (and higher price this season)
