Having recently announced the launch of the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition, we thought we’d give you another reminder to make sure you enter in time.

As we revealed last week, this year’s contest is sponsored by FanDuel, who are donating more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants on top of the £350 in Amazon vouchers we are offering to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, all UK entrants who take part in the cup get a £10 free credit from FanDuel added to their account when they play their first game. This can be used at any time as soon as you register with FanDuel.

Sign up to this latest Cup competition via the entry form here. The deadline for entries is Monday November 7.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions. Previous winners must enter to be included.

The cup will then be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

9/10 you'd say A. He's had a dip in form.....but how long will that last?! Southampton are looking at playing their 3rd choice LB with Bertrand and Soare injured/lacking fitness. Sterling/Sane will be looking to exploit that.

I cannot see Burnely conceding more than 2 at home. They have no injury concerns apart from Defour, so looking their usual solid at the back.

      inconsistency puts me off Firminho.

I think A or C are your best choices, with Theo the slight edge against a boo side who started well but are now struggling.

Thinking of Antonio >> Son or Lallana (already have Walcott.)

Feeling a bit unsure what with West Ham facing Sunderland and Antonio being well up there on the goals imminent table. Do i give him one more week......a real tough one one!

he's changed his position so he will be off the goals imminent table shortly I think

Even as a WB he still has quite good attacking potential, as seen last season + look at Cresswell on the other flank 🙂

But yeah, it's risky tho and could just backfire and give 2 points.

Yeah I meant the attacking threat Cresswell posed when he played last week. It's that kind of runs that makes Antonio extremely dangerous. He might not get goals that often but the assist potential is still kind of there

      I would ship now.

How many times do we read on here 'one more week'. You switch now, (Lallana is definitely the better choice - fixture and prev history), you are set for 3-4 weeks with him.

Never jumped on the Antonio bandwagon, looking at players for at least 4-5 games rather than 1-2 weeks.

  7. Eze Really?

Not done this for a while.
    RMT
    Grant/Pickford (Will upgrade shortly)
    Bellerin Clyne Walker (Amat Holebas)
    Sterling Sanchez Firmino Payet (Capoue)
    Kaku Costa Austin.

no Kun has worked so far.

    With this MF of:

Sterling Sanchez Antonio Capoue (De Roon)

Hi all, I have a question.
What to do with my 2 FTs?
    Foster - Jaku
    Coleman - Shaw - Friend - Pieters - Amat
    Lallana - Barkley - Townsend - Capoue - Sanchez
    Aguero - Rondón - Lukaku
    1.6 itb.

Preferably I'd save one. I think I want Walcott in - I could get him for Barkley or Townsend. My defence is lousy, but I don't have any ideas for improving it.
    What do you think?

    1. RustyBz
      • 11 Years

Rondon has to go as do Barkley and Townsend.

    Happy Friday everyone!!!

So, i've been pondering who to bring in to replace Ross Barkley - it came down to Lallana for the Liverpool midfield double-up (with Mane), Arnautovic or Siggy.

I decided against Arnie because of his 4 bookings, and decided that a Liverpool double up without a surname ending in "ino" probably wasn't the right way to go.

    So, i was all set to back Siggy, when i realised i could do;

Aguero and Barkley for De Bruyne and Lukaku.

    Hmmm, kind of a like-for-like...

That would make my front 7 look like this - Sanchez, Mane, Alli, De Bruyne, Antonio; Lukaku, Rashford (Dio).

This would be for a minus 4.

    ...thoughts?

I'm wondering if there's a possibility that Austin could be benched at the weekend. Could we see Puel go for Long/JRod in order to try and close down Bravo and the channels to the full backs?

Or am I talking nonsense and Austin will start, evidenced by him being rested midweek?

I had him for a couple of weeks before his injury. It was quite the fling.

Now though, I'd only get him if you were going to captain him over Aguero, otherwise the money is better spent on 2 x 8m, than 1 x 10m + 1 x 6m.

    Final question
Could Tony Pulis have won 21 trophies in 7 years managing Barcelona and Bayern?

    A) Yes
    B) Definitely

More. He'd have made them more defensively solid that his world class attack would have beaten anyone. 😉

Anyone else going for Arnautovic????? Just did Tadic to him. Think Hull are brutal and eh played really well last week against another crap team. only a matter of time before he hits form. Would have had to take a hit to get another arsenal player in.

    Mid looks like this now.

    Payet-Firmino-Walcott-Arnautovic

Nearly did but I'd need him to stay for 3gws and the 4yc's put me off. Doubt he'll last that long.

Tricky one this week, bench one of these defenders:

    A) Koscielny (MID)
    B) Stones (SOT)
    C) Williams (bur)
    D) Shawcross (hul)
    E) Amat (WAT)

      E. How come you're playing 4 defenders? What does your mid/attack look like?

        Sanchez, Walcott, Coutinho, Antonio (Capoue)
        Aguero, Lukaku (Diamonde)

Capoue as a 5th mid hasnt worked and my defs have good fixtures so I am going to save a transfer and sort it next week.

Saying that it looks like Capoue is falling tonight. I have 6.2m for a replacement...

After United playing well in the last game I'm wondering who to bench between Rashford and Allen.

Plan was to go 352 for the next few weeks with Allen a playing 7th forward. Downgrade Rashford next week and upgrade a defender.

    Thoughts?

      FWIW I've just done Rashford-Deeney

Great fixtures for Deeney in next 5 and Rashford is will be a second right back v Chelsea i feel.
