It’s that time of the weekend when we sneak into Paddy’s garage, lift up the sleek bonnet of his gleaming green vehicle and glory in the supercharged odds that lie beneath.

And we’ll continue that highly dubious automotive theme by taking a look at this week’s special offers for brand-new customers and in particular the 10-1 for the bus-parking United to beat Chelsea at the Bridge on Sunday.

If the boys in blue are a more arresting prospect, you can get 7-1 for Chelsea to win, and there’s 6-1 that Spurs will beat Bournemouth.

Man City haven’t won any of their last four matches, so they’ll be fired up (and you might be too) by the 5-1 on offer for them to beat Southampton.

And if a big fat accumulator feeds your fancy, then check out the 20-1 available if Arsenal, Everton, Leicester and West Ham all win.

Be sure to check the terms and conditions on all those offers and, of course, we should state that all these specials are only available to those aged 18. If you’re going to wager, always gamble responsibly.

‘Oh look, I can’t believe that Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez have the shortest odds in the anytime scorer market’ said nobody ever.

But look beyond the big names with the tiny odds and you’ll see some interesting offers.

Charlie Austin, for instance. He’s hit four goals in his last four league outings and scored twice last week. A trip to Man City is never easy, but scoring against them this season is – Pep’s pupils have kept only one clean sheet in the league – so Austin’s 2.60 price looks more than reasonable.

Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson was also in the goals last week and he and new boss Bob Bradley entertain Watford. Okay, so the Hornets kept an away clean sheet last time out, but that was their first of the season. And it was against Middlesbrough.

Bradley’s comb has seen more action than Boro’s forwards in recent weeks, so Swansea will fancy their chances of a win and 3.00 on a Gylfi goal is generous.

As is 2.87 on Mesut Ozil to bang one in at home to Boro. The German has four from his last two matches, after all, while 5.00 on a Joe Allen strike is a real tempter if the Stoke midfielder can score for the fourth match on the trot away at Hull. Or Hull ’12 goals conceded in their last four matches’ City, to give them their full title.

CLEAN SHEET ODDS – GAMEWEEK 9

Clean sheets have been as rare as low pay and humility in the Premier League this season, but the fixtures have fallen in such a way as to suggest we’ll see a few shut-outs this weekend.

Arsenal lead the way, at 1.80, to see off 87 minutes of Alvaro Negredo forgetting how to score and then a further three minutes (plus time added on) of Jordan Rhodes desperately trying to get back into his boss’s good books. And failing.

Leicester City are 2.50 to record their fourth home clean sheet in the league against Palace. You just have to hope Claudio Ranieri fools his team into thinking it’s a Champions League match.

And among the outliers, there are some reasonable shut-out shouts.

Manchester United will more than likely wheel out the bus that bored Anfield for another 90-minute parking exercise at Chelsea, so 3.75 is a good-looking price.

Man City’s last four results – two defeats, two draws – make them look fragile, which could leave them vulnerable to the league’s clean sheet kings, Southampton.

The Saints are at 7.50 to keep City at bay. They’ve done it to three other league teams already, and six times in all competitions this season, so it could be time for a magnificent seventh.

Baines defo out, leave me very thin back line of:
    Heaton
    Pieters, Friend, Amat (Baines, Evans)

FT already used to get Wally, and 0.1 ITB - anything hitworthy here, or should I hold? Reckon any new transfer only has to outscore Friend (ARS away) by 4, which seems a pretty low bar to me!

How many points do we think each 0.1 value is worth?

Last night I transferred Capoue to Allen to save a 0.1 drop and gain a 0.1 rise so overall a 0.2 swing. with a 4 point hit. Good value? I would add that I will be playing Allen and benching Rashford too.

Taking further if 10 hits gives a £1M rise in team value would you go for it?

I reckon that as long as ther is a decent amount of weeks left in which to invest the cash then deffo worth it.

    What say you guys???

Not seen much talk of any Liverpool players for captain

Their home form is amazing, first early evening kick off at the newly redone stadium. surely West Brom are there for the taking?

      Two issues put me off:

      1. liverpool's points seem to be shared around!

      2. You know Pulis is going to put 11 behind the ball!

Surely Southampton and Middlesbrough will do the same though?

Lallana back Sturridge will be benched so some nice midfield build up play just the way Klopp likes. Clean sheet and 3 goals to pool.
