The Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion

A hugely frustating Saturday comes to its conclusion as Liverpool entertain West Bromwich Albion at Anfield.

The Reds’ run of four straight wins was halted by a dogged Man United display on Monday evening, though on the positive side, Jurgen Klopp’s side chalked up a first clean sheet of the season ahead of some very kind looking fixtures.

Bearing in mind that the Baggies have a single clean sheet in seven, owners of the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana will be optimistic of returns tonight. The latter returns to the starting line-up in Jurgen Klopp’s only change from the side that were frustrated by the Red Devils.

Four goals and two assists in five appearances makes Nacer Chadli the visitors’ danger man, whilst Ben Foster owners will be expecting a save point or two at least as he looks to repel the Reds’ attack.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Very mediocre day. Need the Aguero(c) hattrick tomorrow to salvage something.

None of my starters has scored a goal and all of my players have played. The only one who has scored a goal is McAuley(second of my bench) who destroyed my Clyne clean sheet. On the plus side, four of my five midfielders have kept a clean sheet.

same as me, 1st bench is Dann so effectively McCauley was 1st.
Only saving grace is Sergio still to play and clean sheets all round

Just when I thought Lovren would keep a cleansheet! 😆

At least Firmino/Mane got me 17 pts

Saved header was gutting too. Massive potential swing there, especially as I have Coutinho too

Yup. I literally lost 6 pts when Liverpool conceded since I have two of their midfielders.

The most frustrating thing about Lovren losing his clean sheet was that I brought him in for McAuley 🙁

Choice to bring in grant for jaku or a defender for one of Collins / mcauley
Decision lovren for mcauley and played foster
So played Collins and lovren with Amat second sub and Francis third sub
Collins and Amat don't play so Francis off bench
If had brought grant in and played I would have had Francis second McCauley third.
I have no idea if I am better off 🙂

Want to do Sterling KDB this week. KDB rise last night and Sterlibg will fall tonight. Make a .2 swing .1 and do it? I usual do early transfer and have been lucky makes rest of the week boring though.

75% of the top 10k have played their captain today.
Presumably a lot of thise are Walcott and Sanchez.

A big Aguero (C) or Ibra (C) haul could move you up the rankings this GW.
