There’s one more match to consider in Gameweek 10, as Stoke and Swansea go head to head at the bet365 this evening.

The Potters welcome Bob Bradley’s side on the back of two straight wins and clean sheets, with Joe Allen and Xherdan Shaqiri both bagging a brace in clashes against Sunderland and Hull respectively.

Indeed, Allen was the third most transferred in player ahead of the weekend deadline, with over 138,000 Fantasy Premier League managers snapping up his services on the back of four goals in as many league matches.

Despite a frustrating goalless draw at home to Watford last time out, the Swans will take heart from their recent 3-2 defeat at the Emirates.

Prior to Jermain Defoe’s converted penalty at the Stadium of Light on Saturday lunchtime, Swansea were the only side to score against Arsenal in eight matches across all competitions.

With the schedule smiling kindly from Gameweek 13 onwards, Gylfi Sigurdsson has the chance to stake a claim for inclusion in our five-man midfields.

      A

Not a huge amount of decent options for strikers under £8.5m. Although Keane will barely score any points and will probably lose his place once Diomande and Mbokani are back, but It's probably worth it to get Hazard.

Ok so I already have Firmino, but I really think I'm going to have to double up on Liverpool mids and get Coutinho in additionally considering their more than kind run of fixtures.

Midfield as it stands is fairly standard : Sanchez, Walcott, Firmino, Sterling, Capoue.

I'm thinking of ditching Walcott for Coutinho, but I need to find 0.7m. Which means I'd have to get rid of Benteke as he's my "worst" forward (the other two being Aguero and Lukaku), and my defence is rather light (Lovren, Francis, Holebas, Kone, Amat).

This brings me to my quandary : assuming I use one of my two FT to do Walcott > Coutinho, what do I do with the rest?

A/ Benteke -> Wilson/Austin, keep Capoue, keep a terrible defence, no hits
B/ Benteke -> Wilson/Austin, Capoue -> Fletcher, Kone-> Morgan, play 3-4-3, -8 points (or spread it over several weeks)
    C/ Sterling -> Redmond, Kone -> Alonso, -4 points

With 0 ITB it's hard to improve much.

I figured option C would give me a backbone of Alonso, Lovren, Holebas, with Francis coming in if needed.

Fellas, with a midfield composed of Allen, Sanchez, Antonio, Sterling and Capoue, should I ditch temporarely Sanchez and Antonio to let Coutinho and Hazard in until GW13 when Arsenal will be back with splendid fixtures?

        • 10 Years

Exactly. My main concern is money and frankly, I don't understand how I can be so short of money lately when my defense is perfectly under 6.0 each, my attack only has one striker over 10.0 and my goalkeepers are only 5.0. Seriously, I try my very best to save money, but it's not enough. Therefore, if Sanchez is really a keeper, well, I can avoid Hazard for now and trade Valencia and Sterling for a cheaper defender and the necessary Coutinho.

Arnie for Allen would give me a $2.5M in the bank with this team:

    Pickford
    Mustafi - Smith - Stones
    Sterling - Sanchez - Firmino - Allen
    Kun - Lukaku - Austin

Gameweek 12 Sterling for Hazard with money in the bank.
