Gameweek 13 is now brought to a conclusion with a couple of late Sunday afternoon kick-offs.

Manchester United entertain West Ham United at Old Trafford, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in contention after serving a one-match ban.

The big Swede notched twice in his previous league appearance and faces a defence that’s been breached 14 times in six road trips already.

Juan Mata, meanwhile, earned over 52,000 transfers in last week after bagging the opener at home to Arsenal.

Michail Antonio is the Hammers’ top scoring FPL asset, having served up a goal and assist in the last two Gameweeks. The midfielder has already netted against Man City, West Brom and Spurs away from home, though sits just one yellow shy of a single-match ban today.

Southampton and Everton go head-to-head at St Mary’s in the other 4.30 fixture.

The Saints’ defence kept Liverpool at bay last time out and could come under increased FPL interest if they can repel former manager Ronald Koeman’s Toffees.

Romelu Lukaku has netted just once in his last four league outings and suffered a price drop in the previous Gameweek.

With Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool in the next four, the Everton talisman needs a return to form this afternoon to stave off further transfers out.

    Team is an absolute mess

From 90k to 550k in the last 3 weeks and that includes a WC week!

    Foster (Heaton)

    Verts Evans Pieters (Alonso, Friend)

    Hazard Firmino DeRoon KDB (Gundogan)

    Austin Kane Lukaku

Thinking of -8 going into next week

Hazard, Lukaku And Gundogan--> Costa, Pedro and Siggy

Or is there someone else I should be considering?

Please help guys, I have 2 FT's and need 1.2 to fund Lukaku for Kane.

    Current team :-

    Pickford Boruc

    Stones Lovren Holebas Evans Amat

    Capoue Gundogan Hazard Sanchez Firmino

    Austin Lukaku Aguero

How can I free up 1.2? thinking I will need to lose one of Hazard, Sanchez or Firmino but who?

    Any help appreciated guys. Cheers

Depending on how much you paid for Gundogan then swap him for Matic (£5.1m and 7 assists so far) and downgrade Stones for another defender who at least plays. Should be able to raise the £1.1m

    Cech, Jakupovic
    Alonso, Lovren, Holebas, Evans, Amat
    Firmino, Ozil, Coutinho, Allen, Capoue
    Aguero, Lukaku, Defoe

I'm normally very reluctant to take hits, but 76 points overall in the last 2 weeks makes me feel I need to shake things up.

Are either of these worth the hit(s) or am I just full of rage after a bad week?

DGWs are near the end of the season anyway. It paid of for me massively in the DGW last year (although the DGWs might not be as good this year, I don;t think FA Cup quarters are on a PL GW this year).

            • Fantasy Football Scout Member

The FA Cup Quarters coincide with GW28, and if the powers that be follow the usual practice of not rescheduling PL matches in CL/Europa League weeks (or Int Breaks), the first DGW slot will be GW34; which is also the mid-week after the FA Cup Semis, so teams could have zero, one or two PL fixtures. GW37 is the other window.

There is also a free week following the League Cup Final (GW26), so Premier League finalists would have the option of completing their PL fixture in the same game-week.

Too early I know, but I really enjoyed the DGW threads last year.

IMO Yes. Goal-scoring record should secure his place in the side, and been fairly impressed by the positions he has bene getting into. Certainly at that price range, should be OK. Has shown far more sustainable goal-scoring than the likes of Allen/Gundogan too.
