After Liverpool’s second-half collapse in a seven-goal thriller at the Vitality Stadium, we now make our way to Goodison Park as Everton entertain Manchester United in the 4pm kick-off.

With five goals in as many outings across all competitions, Zlatan Ibrahimovic carries the hopes of many Fantasy managers heading into this one.

Up against a defence with one clean sheet in nine, the Red Devils’ frontman was the second most captained player in Gameweek 14 with just over 13.1% of Fantasy Premier League managers handing him the armband.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial are rewarded with starts after both excelled in the midweek cup win against West Ham.

The Toffees recent downturn in form saw over 231,000 FPL managers part company with Romelu Lukaku last week alone – only Philippe Coutinho was subject to more transfers out ahead yesterday’s deadline.

Now down to 9.5 in price, the big Belgian has netted just once in the last five Gameweeks compared to six goals in his first seven appearances.

Nonetheless, with United managing just two shut-outs in the previous 10 league matches, Ronald Koeman’s side will be optimistic of getting back amongst the goals today.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

If you bought him after GW 10, you will feel terrible after taking him out for a -8.

That bit was accidental in my opinion, but it was his next action (bringing his feet down again on Coleman) that was very questionable.

      -4 (1 hit)

Aguero to Costa was the only transfer I had to make.

However couldn't afford any Kane rises so had to get him in prep for Spurs home fixtures too.

Had to take Kun,Kaku and Deeney out prior to the game, coz I felt Ibra,Kane and Austin were better picks moving forward (price changes and the plan to get Alonso this week also played a part). Got lucky with the Kun red (as a fresh non-owner). 2nd hit of the season.

First hit was Sanchez, Antonio and Mustafi for Haz, Mane and Darmian. A bit mixed emotions on that 1 as I got Haz for the 19 pointer, but lost the last 2 from Sanchez. Still feeling good though as I've gotten great returns from Mane in the past 4.

Currently not planing on bringing Sanchez back in, coz I don't want to deviate from my current plan, but if this run continues I'd have to reconsider.

Mane is a great pick. Went for him over Coutinho and returned 13, 3, 6, 11. Just can't complain with that. He is also a quality under the radar differential. Really hope he stays fit.

        1. b✪mber
          • 10 Years

I'm glad that I own him, but will probably ship him out for Sanchez if Sanchez continues like this. I thought that both him and Sanchez will be similar value if I don't consider the captaincy (and thought I had the captaincy without Sanchez covered well) - as It stands I'm wrong on the value thing, and add to that that my C picks in the last 4 have failed (apart from Kane). Still gonna give a week or 2 a go on this set up though.

As for A, there are so many ideas/opinions posted on here picking the right one is an art itself, so it doesn't really help you in a solid way. If what you pick up here works, it simply works. If what you pick up here and try and it does not work, it simply does not work. End of.

How can you cheat in FPL. Have two teams?

I am a paid member for the information I get and this sometimes helps me make decisions. I think forum only helps if you listen to the right people who are pretty few and far between (and I ain't one!).

I like the chatter but on gamedays it's usually just a mixture of desperation and posts with no replies.

      1. Demí
        • 15 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Do you think the members area gives you the edge over rivals or the forum? I would say the latter 100%

        1. bojack
          • 10 Years
          9 years, 8 months ago

The forum because people condense whatever is in the members area to their replies here I think. You learn who the good players are pretty quickly.

It's not a forum though really, I think the site would benefit from a proper forum where you could post about a topic and go in and discuss in depth. But whether this is restricted to members is hard to say. On matchdays it's not a great place to be usually and I think a lot of the older members don't come on on the weekend.

    1ft, 0.7itb

    Heaton, Pickford
    VVD, Williams, Holebas, Evans, Amat
    Hazard, Mane, Firmino, Walcott, Fletcher
    Ibra, Kane, Austin

    If mane is injured:
    A. Mane to Siggy
    B. Mane + Walcott to Sanchez + Can/Fer/Phillips/6m -4
    C. Mane + Williams to Siggy + Alonso -4

Quite like C, next week with that I could do Walcott to 8.9, Spurs mid maybe

C has the highest chance of points next week too IMO
That is, immediate return from both looks likely .
Alonso is always worth a hit in the long term too.
      Monitor Wally another week maybe?

He honestly didnt look as threatening as he does in the False 9 with Coutinho. It will be interesting to see who Lallana replaces in the starting 11 and how it's affects Firmino's position.

Hello, I am looking at about a 60 point deficit on my cash ML leader however he has already used both his TC and this week used his Bench Boost. My thinking is I am probably about level with him with the value of the chips? how much do we consider them to be worth used well on DGW (as is my intention)?

He is ahead. You'll do well to get 30 with BB and TC scoring 30 more than normal captain is a struggle.

He also doesn't have to shape his team for the BB later in the season where the blanks and rotation make things interesting.

Well this is a touchy subject in these parts. I would absolutely save your second WC, BB and TC for the DGWs based on my experience last year. I think I used them OK and I got a massive boost in rank when all was said and done. Finished just over 2k when I was at near 100k on Jan 1 2016.

In all honesty although he is clear of all by about 40 I don't see him as a likely winner, there are a few who I think will overtake him and since joining this community (gw7) my rank has gone up by about 500k and I am sure I can continue to out perform the casuals, of which I definitely was before. I really started badly and had been hit and miss, I have now started to be a lot more successful with transfers and yes I have still made bad ones and too many, it is coming together now so thanks all 🙂

      Not exactly
He is a winger technically and tries to get forward whenever he can
Should score or assist one every 3-4 games by the looks of it
Might be considered a good option as the season shows..,once he gets that one explosive week for people to actually consider him. Right now the Chelsea slots are booked in most teams haha.
