With a break in our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition during the midweek fixtures, we spend some time this evening to see who has made it through to fifth round, which takes place during Gameweek 17 this coming weekend.

A reminder that, for this latest contest, there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition the highest scoring manager each round wins a £30 FanDuel credit, with community regular Moin earning this prize after his 65 point Gameweek 15 haul. He next faces msq22 in round five.

The next four highest scoring managers in round four win a £10 FanDuel credit. These will be handed out to Pinky Unites, who scored 63, DJDave1979, who scored 61 along with twobitgooner, and BC1, Bashvilla, Hagop, who all hit the 60 point mark.

The highest placed manager left in the competition is 216 ranked Bacuna Matata, who along with Pink Unites, won a £30 FanDuel voucher for the top highest score back in the third round.

The unfortunate manager to face this early frontrunner to win the competition is lowlifegimpe, who is ranked 337,555.

In a closely fought contest, our only remaining Fantasy Football Scout staff representative, TorresMagic, has made it through to round five, after squeezing past Zambhino10 by just a single point.

The moderator has another tough encounter in store when he takes on Smooth Rossi, who at 6,687 in the overall rankings is more than 7,000 places above him.

Other eye catching ties taking place in round five include Funkyav’s clash with Big Phil Soccer Team and Cobberlsnz taking on Bash Villa, who incidentally sent me packing back in the first round.

The fourth round results can be found via this link, while the full fifth round draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

I think I might go against the grain and save a trade this week with no pressing injuries or issue.

    Heaton
    Alonso / McAuley / Cedric
    Hazard / Firmino / Sigurðsson / Snodgrass
    Kane / Costa / Defoe

Pickford / Pieters / De Roon / Friend

    1FT, 2.7itb

    Play Pieters or Snodgrass?

    Gtg.

I'm wondering the same. Tempted to ditch Firmino but when the fixtures come thick and fast it's a bit of a luxury transfer when there's no injuries or suspensions.

I'd prefer to wait this gameweek as it's such a quick turn around and use 2 trades in case their is an injury suspension etc...

With 2 Ft you have more room to manoeuvre. Can make 3 trades for -4. Mini WC ; )

Walcott & Firmino --> Sanchez & Antonio for -4? Patience with Firmino has run out now, and it's scary not owning Sanchez.

Have you thought about Origi? Seems to be going under the radar but has scored in every game he's played since coming into the team. Liverpool's good fixtures seem to go on and on. Same price as Austin too...Any reason why you wouldn't?

    repost....
    Foster - Pickford
    Alonso - Rose - Lovren - Holebas - Kingsley
    Firmino - Sanchez - Hazard - Siggy - Gundogan
    Anichebe - Costa - Nacho

1ft 3.7 itb. Would love some advice.
I was thinking Firmino, anichebe, gundogan > Kane, Boufal, De Roon -8. Would have to do it tonight...
Otherwise maybe a drastic -12 to do Firmino, anichebe, gundogan, Lovren > Kane, Lallana, De Roon, 4.8 def...

8 clean sheets out of 15 so far from Chelsea, can they beat Manchester United's record of 20 in a season?
Would need 13 from 23, seems doable with the best holding midfielder of 2015/16 and the best holding midfielder of 2014/15 in their side.

Benteke. Yes he has 3 tricky fixtures coming up but:

      - on pens, means he can score against any defence
      - on good form, we know how well he did for Villa when he hit form and now he plays for a better team
      - Palace score loads and their attack is built around him

      Save if you have Kane

Having Kane is not going to impact Eriksens points. In fact, it is irrelevant.

I'm not a fan of losing money but I am doing the same.

I think holding is the best idea. We know he can explode if Liverpool can get their act together.

His stats are very similar to Hazard who everyone has been dismantling their teams to fit in.

I used my ft = Firmino out & Eriksen in leaving 0.9itb

I just want to ask = play Phillips or Iheanacho. I'm on Phillips atm as he played better in gw15 & he'll play 90 whereas Nacho won't if gw15 is any indication.

      Foster
      Alonso, Cedric, Pieters
      Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, Siggy, Phillips
      Kane (c), Costa (vc)

      Jaku, Iheanacho, Holebas, Amat

So am I gtg. Thoughts & thanks.
