Gameweek 17 begins with Chelsea attempting to maintain their 10-game winning streak at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.

There’s plenty on show for Fantasy Football managers, with Eden Hazard a confirmed starter having missed the midweek victory at Sunderland.

Sold by more than 130,000 ahead of today’s deadline, they will be fidgeting uncomfortably throughout and hoping that Hazard continues to simmer in away matches. He’s scored just two goals in seven road trips so far, compared to six in eight at Stamford Bridge.

Diego Costa has had no such issues, home or away. He goes into today’s encounter off the back of just his third blank of the season on Wednesday – he is yet to go two Gameweeks without a goal or an assist this season.

For Palace, both Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke offer the major threat to a Chelsea defence that has conceded just two goals over their ten successive wins.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Come on Costa owners. It's one game. Crazy to sell. You probably have a lot of value tied up in him and he hast Stoke at home when returns.
    Regarding s non-owners, who has refrained from getting him because of the yellow, it is never accepted to gloat. But you have to give us a break and understand the frustration of have refrained from getting him in on multiple occasions since his fourth yellow in GW 6!

    Congratulations on owning an excellent player and getting him for a decent price. Let the non-owners have these few joyous minutes before he scores again 😉

        Of course not. Just most in my ML got him in early and I would assume a lot of people on here also had him early on. Even if you got him in GW 12, his price has risen 0.5m.

        No idea why non owners would be happy not owning the top scoring striker in the game. Gloating about a 1 game ban is all they have 🙂

        I brought him for 10.6. Current price 11. Selling would make 0.2

        Let's say he goes down atleast 0.2, would make his buy back price 10.8.

        But I would want him back ASAP so waste of two transfers selling and getting back

        So yeah I'll keep too.

        Why are people so concerned with what other people are doing with Costa? If people want to sell let them sell, if they want to keep let them keep. Why care?

          A few reasons I am extra fixated on Costa. Basically I don't care that much what the community on here does, but what trying to start a conversation...
          I also care because I am the only one in my MLs that doesn't own Costa. I care because they all got him somewhere between 0.8-1,5m cheaper than I am able to get him. I care because he is one of the most controversial footballers in the PL. I care because I hate him so so much. I care because I have refrained from getting him in on multiple occasions because of his fourth yellow. I care because I am obviously regretting not getting him in earlier. I care because he is one of the highest owned players.

          And if you don't get that it is interesting to tal about what owners think to do with Costa, I don't get why you are on this forum..

        Definitely keeping him as it's only one game and I bought him for 9.6.

        I've got the funds to upgrade my 5th mid to 8.1 so will bring in another midfielder for next week.

      If Costa gets another yellow he would still only serve a 1 match suspension but would stay on the tightrope with 4 YC's so would just need to avoid 1 more on Dec 31 v Stoke.

        Yes sorry, second yellow this game would only be 1 game suspension as first yellow then wouldn't count towards 5 card total however would still need to avoid another yellow vs Stoke on 31st Dec to not get another suspension.
