After Jay Rodriguez guided Southampton to a 3-1 win at the Vitality, we’re treated to a couple of 4pm encounters that may well have a significant impact on the Fantasy Premier League standings.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are heavily backed to get the better of Burnley at the Lane.

The in-form pair have each scored twice in two of their last three home appearances, earning first and third place in our Gameweek 17 Captain Poll respectively.

Frustratingly, our Scout Pick Toby Alderweireld misses out with a minor back problem, though we’ll have an eye on Spot the Differential candidate Danny Rose against a Clarets outfit with a single goal to their name on the road so far.

Man City and Arsenal square up at the Etihad in the other match.

Alexis Sanchez seeks a fifth double-figure away haul against a City defence that’s been far from convincing, with just three clean sheets to their name so far.

With the Gunners now poised for some excellent upcoming fixtures, a big performance from Theo Walcott could persuade some Sanchez owners he is worth a double-up option.

Sergio Aguero remains suspended for City, with Pep Guardiola once again benching the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and John Stones.

Kevin De Bruyne is the man most likely for the home side, though the Belgian’s run of 10 league appearances without a goal has left him on the Fantasy periphery.

Sort of, attacking points still plausible for the full backs. Pleased though nonetheless!
