Here it is – the one day of the year where I legitimately attempt to prise mind, body and spirit away from Fantasy Football. And here I am posting this.

I will keep this short, saving a more prolonged retrospective and preview of things to come for the New Year’s message.

However, while I’m here and feeling warm and fuzzy, I’d like to speak for everyone associated with Fantasy Football Scout and extend a huge thank you for your fantastic support and for the contributions you make to what is, in my opinion, one of the very best football communities around.

Now, for once, I encourage you to tear your retinas’ away from the screen, shelve those thoughts of overlooking Zlatan as captain and edge back to families and friends. They may not be able to help guide your captaincy dilemma but we’ll all be here to help when you get back.

From all at Fantasy Football Scout, we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.

Liking this from GW20 onwards:

Hennessey - Pickford
Luiz - Friend - Evans - Monreal - Amat
Sanchez - Hazard - Pogba - Phillips - De Roon
Costa - Ibrahimovic - Benteke

I have gone for the cheapest option in defence, but you can upgrade if you have the cash (e.g. Alonso for Luiz). If you can't afford Benteke then go for Rondon.

  Wow Jaks, I have 11/15 of the same players lol, maybe even 12/15 if you have Jaku as your backup keeper!! Only difference is I have Walker instead of Lovren, Jones instead of Holebas and Antonio over Eriksen (damn) but I was really strongly considering Holebas over Jones.

  All good mate, I'm also playing Amat ATM over Fletcher and Pieters. Apparently he's getting on the end of Siggy set pieces, so he might actually wind up scoring (!?!) Plus if he doesn't start (as the scouts reckon) he's very unlikely to come on

  I have Antonio, got him as a punt for the 2 whu games just gone, was fortunate that he was fouled for their pen and i will probably keep for a while as Siggy's fixtures harden before his.
  
  That said, I'd actually be looking at Ramirez or one of the WBA boys (Phillips; Chadders) at this point in that bracket. A cheeky punt on Redmond might also be ok. In that price bracket, it's all such a punt anyway.
