Gameweek 18 rolls on this evening as Liverpool welcome Stoke to Anfield in a 5.15pm kick-off.

Owned by over 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers, Sadio Mane’s home form suggests he’s the man most likely to wreak havoc against the Potters – the Senegal international has scored or assisted in six of seven Anfield appearances since arriving from Southampton over the summer.

Divock Origi, with goals in all but one of the last five Gameweeks, retains his starting berth, with Jurgen Klopp set to unleash Daniel Sturridge from the bench once again.

Roberto Firmino also keeps his place as he attempts to end a run of six straight blanks.

For the Potters, Joe Allen is the form player – he’s bagged a goal and assist in the last three Gameweeks as he prepares to face his former club for the first time since moving to the bet365.

Between the posts, Lee Grant has produced at least one save point in each of the last four and should be kept busy again as the hosts look for the win that would see them leapfrog Man City into second.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Costa rested and Stoke will be playing again after 3 days. Chelsea will get an added day of break. Costa looks a better pick than Ibra against Middlesbrough who doesn't concede much against the big teams.

After Origi's last two performances and also being subbed off I'm dropping him.

    Though who to replace with?

    1. Negredo
    2. Rondon

Looking at these two due to very favourable fixtures from GW20 and also I cant afford to upgrade so only have 6.9 to spend.

So the real question now: Aguero or Costa ?!?

Tentatively looking to bring in Lukaku as a 3rd with Ibra nailed first choice. Dos that mean I should save money on Costa for a mid-priced midfielder, or just commit to Aguero (with the potential to downgrade) and grab a cheap midfielder for now like Phillips.

    1. Stokelona
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 6 months ago

I'm committing to Aguero before burnley and then going to get Lukaku as 3rd striker when his fixture improve in 4 or 5 games.

      Aguero if you have hazard

      1. Postman Ty

Hazard's the mid I'm looking to ditch actually. I'm not 100% convinced Chelsea will be scoring 3+ goals a game from here out, but if they do it again next week I might consider Costa more. Aguero is just more explosive and on pens. I really don't fancy Hazard in those tricky away games.

      Such a weird system though.

Let's say it unlocks and he's sitting on a wealth of transfers in, they could just ignore all those and then any transfer on the second night would be genuinely counted.

Or if they follow usual procedure, just count as many transfers IN as they like on the first night of unlocking and give him a 0.1 rise.

Don't understand the need to lock players. Free market should dictate things. If a player is injured/suspended, of course everyone is gonna jump ship. Soon as he becomes available for games then treat him like any other active player.

It is strange, people bringing him for one game before a succession of dodgy fixtures and they won't even reap the benefit. Buying him in now you're more likely to lose value overall.

I think I'll hold onto Kane this weekend - he might have a couple of worldies this week.
