On the eve of Gameweek 19, we can reveal those who prevailed in the sixth round of our open-to-all Fantasy Premier League cup competition to earn a place in the last sixteen stage, which takes place over the next set of fixtures.

For this cup contest there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, the highest scoring manager each round will collect a £30 FanDuel credit, with Big Phil Soccer Team winning that accolade for the second week in a row. He is also the competition’s highest placed manager, with an overall rank of 5838, and faces David Brains in round seven after seeing off TorresMagic 95 to 76.

Despite losing out, TorresMagic’s tally was enough to earn him a £10 FanDuel credit as one of the four next highest scorers in round six.

Among the closest ties in round seven is the clash between 9,047 placed Bashvilla and Real Sociopath, who has an overall rank of 11,415.

Another similarly ranked battle involves 8,265 placed DillyDingDillyDongFC against Back on the Horse, who sits in 21,192nd.

The competition’s second highest ranked manager and another recipient of a round six highest score prize of a £10 FanDuel credit, is 6426th placed Simonsimondock. He takes on Moin, who is just 9,000 places below him in the overall standings.

The competition’s lowest ranked manager at 1,006,807 is 808AllDay, who saw off 31,470 placed jurgenklopp.8 in round six and also earned a £10 FanDuel credit for his tally of 75. This giant killer has a slightly easier tie in the next round when he takes on 157,004 placed malvernangells.

Meanwhile, Lowlifegimpe, who also claimed a round six highest score £10 FanDuel credit, takes on Hazardousblue.

The final round seven clashes sees Dumbo Delap face Urchin, another recipient of a £10 FanDuel voucher for a high round six score.  Meanwhile, A Manager Has No Name squares up to Jacknap.

The sixth round results can be found via this link, while the full seventh round draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link. Due to the busy festive fixtures, the competition will not take place in Gameweek 20, with the quarter-finals to be played out in Gameweek 21.

Who remembers Kevin Trippier? Or Ben Davies?

I thought they were good at Burnley and Swansea. Seems a waste to be a reserve full-back at Spurs than a regular at another PL club and actually enjoy playing.

Hey guys. Quite keen to get Kun in before Burnley game, but should i be focusing on the defence instead? 1FT, 1.6 ITB

    Heaton/Pickford
    Cedric Brunt Jones Pieters Friend
Sanchez Payet KDB Hazard De Roon
    Anichebe Ibra Carrol

A: Save this gw, then KDB+Carrol-->Phillips+Kun
B: KDB->Phillips this gw, then Carrol-->Kun next gw
C: Cedric/Brunt/Jones-->Bellerin (although I want Cedric for the fixtures)

Today I was thinking about what makes Aguero and Sanchez such FPL beasts in recent years...

Well, I realised both are world-class players in top 4 teams, but more importantly - both seem to have "that killer instinct" every game they play!
Do you know what I mean? It's almost like you can see it in their eyes. So much winning mentality I respect them!

There are not many players in the league with "that killer instinct" that springs to mind, only Costa at the moment and he is looking quite the beast himself now that Conte is making him use his energy to kill games, not the opponents... (Aguero doing the opposite twice this season)

Anyway, are there any other PL players with "that killer instinct"? Do you even know what I'm talking about!?

Defoe out of form and Sunderland miss a lot of players. Get in a cheap striker and get more money in midfield (Fletcher really bad 5th midfielder) Grabban 4.3, Barnes 4.4 (starts for burnley) for example. Or you can get Carroll/Origi who both are in good form, unlike Defoe.

I would consider that but then benteke is gonna come to form with the way Sam likes to play....

Cant help but feel very hard done by with this Walcott situation.

Been a tough few weeks. Rank and TV both on the slide.

Need to make some good decisions this week.

A possible route into Aguero - Ibra - Costa trio, is it worth the weaker defense?

    Heaton
    Ake - Pieters - Evans
    Hazard - Lallana - Sanchez - Phillips
    Costa - Aguero - Ibra

(Robinson) - Chambers - De Roon - Amat

I think that's good. Usually people are weakening their 3rd and 4th mid but urs are solid

I like the idea but I don't think you need both of Hazard & Costa.

Drop Costa and get rid of the Sunday League defense.

Going Walcott -> Lallana. But have Pickford and Jakupovic. Worth doing -4 for a starting keeper? Only got £4.5m.

I'm in the exact same situation but only doing walcott to Lallana.

Not worth a -4 hit as only way it can be recuperated is with a cs

Not for me, no obvious clean sheet for any cheap keeper.

Zero points from keeper if you don't so hopefully at worst it'll only be -2 if you get a keeper in

    Need advice for this GW:

    Foster (Jaku)
    Holebas Pieters Smith (Amat Walker*)
    Sanchez Hazard Eriksen Lallana (Fletcher)
    Costa Kane Origi
    2FT 0.1itb

Was thinking Walker to Mustafi (if he's fit) and save the other transfer. Would quite like to do Kane ➡ Ibra but not sure who to downgrade to make it happen.

    Cheers

No, he said he won't go - but there's a (slim) chance he'll be banned by the FA as a result.
