Gameweek 25 concludes at the Vitality Stadium with Bournemouth paying host to Pep Guardiola’s Mancheseter City.

Once again Pep’s teamsheet steals the pre-match headlines, with Gabriel Jesus preferred as his central striker, leaving Sergio Aguero on the bench for a third successive outing.

Transferred in by more than 210,000 ahead of Gameweek 25, Jesus is skippered by 156,000 tonight up against a Cherries defence that has shipped more Premier League goals than any other side in 2017, conceding three or more in eight of their last twelve matches.

That defence is at last bolstered tonight by an array of returnees, as Charlie Daniels, Simon Francis and Adam Smith all overcome knocks to claim berths.

Elsewhere, manager Eddie Howe prefers Jordan Ibe to Junior Stanislas on the right flank, as Josh King again leads the attack.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

It was foolish to get Jesus anyway with him being new, Pep's penchant for rotation AND two blanks in 4 weeks. Way more downside than upside & that downside just came through.

Agree but also much easier for you to write this comment after a 15th minute injury than after a third straight Premier League game scoring goals...

      (not a Jesus owner).

They weren't to know he was going to get a freak injury, though, were they!

Seriously, although Jesus injury may have saved my wretched GW you still have to feel for the guys who captained him this week.

    Non-Jesus owner.

Got to feel for the guy. Breaking into the first team, great run of form, displacing somewhat of a legend, only to get injured. Here's hoping he comes back stronger as I definitely want to own him before the end of the season!
