I am a Fantasy Football manager, and I’m addicted to double Gameweeks. It’s a confession that the ScoutCast team are all too eager to admit in this latest ScoutCast episode.

Recorded prior to the confirmation of the first double Gameweek of the season, we were nonetheless correctly counting our chickens and allowing your multitude of community questions on Manchester City assets to steer the chatter.

Granville rejoined Jonty, Andy and myself to reinforce our investigation in Pep’s charges and to add his views to the heated Triple Captain debate surrounding Sergio Aguero. Yes, him again.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, pastry and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Can't see Matt Phillips playing tomorrow. Hamstrings are very sensitive affairs and pulis will be very cautious in putting him back in. Saw last year with firminho and coutinho it can take longer for them to come back than you think

Hmmm.. 50-50 move, I'd say. Worth it if you're feeling risky, although Siggy has a good fixture this week so I've just got him in early, instead of a City mid.

Still though, Hazard and Siggy have similar points expectancies this week so getting Siggy now for a hit and using 2 frees in GW29 would be the same as getting Siggy next week and taking a hit in GW29. And given that I might not need a hit in GW29 it's not quite worth it imo

Finally people are talking about Allen as a DGW option. The lad's get great stats, his average position is beautiful, and at that price point he's DGW gold!!

Genuinely, he's looking a great shout for the TC. Can't believe so many people are missing a trick.

    1. Irish Madridista ⭐
      • 15 Years

People still can't look past that price, I thought Mahrez last year would change the mindset a little but no, people still need to splurge their TC on someone who might not even play just because they cost twice as much.

      Allen's stats are immense.

The games leading up to Rondon's hattrick this year too..
