Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey are back in contention for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool. West Brom wide man Matt Phillips remains doubtful for the visit of Crystal Palace, though Andy Carroll is expected to be fit as West Ham go head-to-head with Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny are both available for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, though Mohamed Elneny has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle complaint. Arsene Wenger has suggested that Mesut Ozil “should be okay” after being sent home from training due to illness on Wednesday.

Andy Carroll is back in training ahead of West Ham’s match with Chelsea on Monday, with Slaven Bilic “very optimistic” on the target man’s availability. Michail Antonio serves a one-match ban after being dismissed away to Watford last time out.

Simon Francis has failed to recover from a hamstring complaint in time for Bournemouth’s trip to Man United, though there’s better news in attack for the Cherries, with Jordon Ibe passed fit.

Tony Pulis conceded that West Brom are “still waiting” on the fitness of Matt Phillips, though the winger is expected to return to training today. Craig Dawson is available after being forced off with a head knock last weekend.

Lazar Markovic is expected to be fit for Hull’s trip to Leicester City, though fellow new arrival Evandro remains sidelined. Dieumerci Mbokani is out for six weeks with a hamstring complaint sustained against Burnley last week, though Marco Silva reckons that Harry Maguire “should be okay” after sustaining a knee problem in the Clarets’ encounter.

Mauro Zarate is ruled out for the rest of the season with the knee injury that forced him off against West Ham last weekend. Costel Pantilimon and Daryl Janmaat are set to be assessed, though Nordin Amrabat, Christian Kabasele and Ben Watson are sidelined through injury.

Xherdan Shaqiri remains a big doubt for Stoke’s double Gameweek, with Mark Hughes admitting that the Swiss international is more likely to be available next week. Jon Walters is back in contention ahead of clashes with Middlesbrough and Man City.

George Friend and Antonio Barragan are both back in training and expected to be available for ‘Boro’s trip to the bet365 but Calum Chambers remains ruled out.

Jefferson Montero has returned to training but remains sidelined along with Ki Sung-Yeung for Swansea’s clash with Burnley. Johan Berg Gudmundsson and Steven Defour are still unavailable for the Clarets, though the latter is now back in training. Ashley Barnes serves a one-match suspension but Jeff Hendrick returns from a three-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

how nailed do we reckon zabaleta is? would stones be a viable dgw option? either would be for a hit

No City defender is safe but i fancy the Zaba punt he will be a great diff for the dgw might not be worth a hit though

Definitely dont do either for a hit.

I dont understand bringing in City defenders- they are terrible at the back. It's apparent every time I watch them play. There is a chance they might keep one clean sheet (against Stoke but I see Sunderland/Defoe scoring) but there is just as much chance as no clean sheet or one of the players youve brought in being rotated. Then you've got Stones in your team and -4 points, when you want neither long term.

Hmm, tricky one. Real 50/50. I'd say no, just.

Mirallas isn't nailed. Worse case scenario is he comes on for the final 15 mins and gets you 1 point. If Phillips is fit then he'll start, Pulis seems really keen to get him back in. So I'd go for him, and he has a much nicer fixture.

No way for the second option. Any -12 that doesn't include Aguero seems madness to me.

The first one, have you got any other City players? If no, then do it. And then captain him probably. If yes, then it's a tough one - think Eriksen will get some returns this weekend, no other trade options?

        No!
This week, you'd need Sterling to outscore Eriksen by 4. That's possibly, even likely, perhaps if he is not rotated.
        But what about 29 onwards?
        Spurs - Southampton (H), Burnley (A), Swansea (A), Watford (H), Bournemouth (H)
        City - Liverpool (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (A), Hull (H), Southampton (A)
Eriksen has comfortably more points than Sterling this season, and is not a rotation risk.

Well now I have Kane, Ibra & Aguero upfront and Sanchez funds spread across midfield players. How on earth do I get Sanchez back after GW28 and who to ditch. Might just have to leave Sanchez out until there's an obvious opportunity to change e.g. injury to one of front 3 or a suspension.

Who is TC'ing Aguero then? I've decided normal (c) is enough - most if not all in my minileague won't have him (they don't read this site afaik) so to own him and captain him is a differential in itself. Also if it all goes wrong I haven't wasted the chip.

Why so sure it will be wasted? Any number of players could present a better option later in the season, given Aguero's recent lack of PL form and Pep's penchant for rotation

Holy God Jules Breach is smoking hot in that latest FPL Show.

That's a lovely figure hugging number she's wearing.

allí to sane for hit? 2 games vs 1 game definitely makes you edge toward sane, my only concern is id have sane in my team after that and need to find a way to ditch

    1. Eriksen>Sterling for a hit? Y/N
(if Y can you sell it to me as I would prefer to have Eriksen from wk29, which would probably require a hit to get back).

    2. Which 1 to bench?
    A. Mawson
    B. Phillips
    C. Coleman

    Jak
    McAuley, Mawson, Walker
    Siggy, Eriksen, Mane, Phillips
    Aguero, Ibra, Defoe
    Heaton, Coleman, Capoue, Smith

Probably not as they are both as attacking as each other. But Walker being at home edges it.

A Grant cleanie at home followed by another cleanie, max bonus and a late peno save from Aguero (following a late Yaya withdrawal).

    Grant (TC)

Right once and for all, pros and cons of TC Aguero this week:

    Pros:
    1. Stoke
    2. Sunderland.
    3. Viable option/timing to use 1 of the chips seeing as only 1 can be used a week.
    4. He's Kun.
    5. Jesus injured

    Cons
    1. Minutes
    2. Blanks
    3. Pep's mad
    4. Possibility of TGW(?!?!) later on.

    Anything I've missed??

Didn't fancy Aguero yesterday, so did Eriksen>KDB and going to stick the armband on him too. Let's see what happens:

    Heaton
    Alonso Walker Evans Robertson
    Hazard Mane KDB(C)
    Negredo Lukaku Ibra(vc)

    Jaku Capoue Holgate Phillips

Kdb is pants fantasy wise, far too deep but good luck

Everyone keeps saying this but he has more points than Sterling. He's not good value at his price but he can still produce returns from that position.
