After two of our differential picks, Marko Arnautovic and Fernando Llorente, struck gold last week, we’re hoping for more of the same ahead of the disrupted
Gameweek 28.

An in-form Hammer takes star billing ahead of a trip to struggling Bournemouth, while under the radar midfield options from Hull City and Liverpool have also caught our attention.

Manuel Lanzini

While big things were expected of West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass following his arrival from Hull City in the January transfer window, it’s Manuel Lanzini who has shone brightest since the departure of Dimitri Payet.

The Argentine has been directly involved in 50 percent of the Hammers’ goals since Payet left to return to Marseille, totaling three goals and a trio of assists over the last seven Gameweeks.

Lanzini has impressively fired in 12 goal attempts over his last four appearances, bettered only by Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho among midfielders.

So ahead of the afternoon’s trip to Bournemouth, Lanzini, who costs just 6.4 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), looks a great differential option.

The Cherries have failed to keep a clean sheet since their last victory, away to Swansea City in Gameweek 19, and have conceded more goals (21) than any other team since.

Slaven Bilic’s men also face further appealing match-ups at home to Leicester City and Swansea City, along with an away trip to Hull, over the next five Gameweeks.

So Lanzini, who is currently sitting in just 1.6% of FPL rosters, looks an intriguing option, not just for the disrupted Gameweek 28, but also for the upcoming period.

Kamil Grosicki

With an assist in each of his last two Gameweek appearances, Hull City midfielder Kamil Grosicki appears to be gaining momentum ahead of this afternoon’s vital home clash against Swansea City.

The Poland international has started all four matches since joining the Tigers from French side Rennes in January, and looks set to be a pivotal figure as Hull battle to avoid relegation.

Since making his debut in Gameweek 24, Grosicki has impressively produced more shots on goal (nine), created more chances (six) and supplied more crosses (34) than any team-mate over the subsequent four matches.

Available at just 5.5 in FPL then, Grosicki could provide Fantasy managers with solid value, bearing in mind that the Tigers also face further favourable home match-ups against West Ham, Middlesbrough and Watford over the next seven Gameweeks.

Today’s clash looks particularly promising for Grosicki, given that Swansea will be without regular right-back Kyle Naughton, who misses out with a hamstring injury.

So Grosicki, who’s played on the left wing in his last three appearances, may gain more joy against the veteran Angel Rangel, who’s expected to deputise for Naughton.

The Swans, meanwhile, have struggled on the road this season, managing just one clean sheet. They have also conceded more big chances (37) than any other side in away matches this term.

With an ownership of just 0.2% in FPL, Grosicki has the potential to emerge as a key differential not only for today, but for the rest of the run-in.

Georginio Wijnaldum

While Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana have all enjoyed spells this season as the leading option from the Liverpool midfield, recently it’s been Georginio Wijnaldum who has been forcing his way into the conversation.

Impressively, the Dutchman has produced two goals, an assist and five FPL bonus points in his last four appearances.

Bearing in mind that the Reds host Burnley at Anfield tomorrow, it’s Wijnaldum’s home form, like last season – where he scored all 11 of his Premier League goals for Newcastle United at St James’ Park – that is once again set to prove crucial to his appeal.

Wijnaldum, who sets us back 7.5 in FPL, has delivered attacking returns in each of his last five home matches, registering three goals and two assists, averaging 8.2 ppg.

Burnley’s record on their travels merely heightens Wijnaldum’s appeal. Away from home, the Clarets have mustered a single clean sheet and conceded more shots inside the penalty area (157) than any other side.

With further home fixtures over the next four Gameweeks against Everton and Bournemouth, Wijnaldum could prove to be a handy differential beyond this weekend, then, with Liverpool’s schedule during the final months of the season also generally very favourable.

So for those looking to make up lost ground in mini-leagues, a punt on the 1.4%-owned Wijnaldum could pay off handsomely.

    Heaton (Jaku)
Coleman - Mcauley (Pieters - Gibson - Alonso)
Carroll - Siggy - Coutinho - King (Alli)
    Lukaku - Carroll (Aguero)

Already taken a -8, does this look G2G...
Then next week on a free Aguero ---> Kane

    Thanks in advance.

What and fill your team up with players from teams you won't want to keep next week ?

Better off taking a few hits and then wildcarding next week if you have to.

Replacing players you want from next GW onwards isn't advisable, so concentrate on replacing the players you don't plan to keep.

If you're transferring out someone who isn't play, the person you'd bring in will (most likely) get 2 pts minimum for playing 60mins+, an effective -2 transfer cost before goals, assists, etc.

If you take a hit for a player instead of having no player it's assumed he'll get minimum of 2pts instead of 0 from non player hence -4 +2 = -2

The two point difference between a starter and a no show. So if you take out a player who doesn't play this week and replace him with one that does, you lose four points on the hit but you also gain two for the one that plays.

Coz the player they are taking out in not playing therefore scoring 0 then the player they bring in is gonna score 2 at least therefore the hit costs -2

Cheers, just went to 12 in hits there now with Phillips being confirmed out. Think it might be worth the hit considering it's Coutinho that I've brought in. Good Luck to you too!

Is 7 enough or do I take hits? I'm ranked 25k.

depends who the 7 are, i'd be tempted to take a hit or two still to push it up to 9 ish

Depends who the 7 are but I would say it would be the average amount of players this week

7 will probably be the average players after hits. If you have a decent playing lot no hit needed but it's a good week to clear one or two dead players.

I did it..... couldn't be bothered with the risk....

But I am captaining coutinho as well so it kind of makes a bit more sense with that in mind.

    Who would be better combo?
    Short / long term

    A) Costa w/ Carroll fodder in 3-4-3
    B) Coutiniho in a 3-5-2

Firmino and Hazard will already be selected

    Morning all,

Anyone have any idea how games are organised to be re-arranged (and the priority)? We've already seen City go off-script with a GW27 re-arrangement quoting their likelihood of a backlog later.

One potential scenario I've noted (assuming Man U advance in the EL and Arsenal, Man C and Man U in FA cup - may not happen).

Southampton's GW34 game with City would be cancelled, normally we would suggest this would be played midweek but I'd be willing to bet (wrongly perhaps) that Man U- Man C will be played in that slot as it's the prime opportunity.

If Arsenal were to re-arrange their GW34 tie with Middlesborough for the midweek Southampton would blank in GW34 and have an even bigger pile up.

Is it left mainly to the clubs to re-organise? If so, Gabbiadini et al might not have a game GW34

    Any thoughts?

Have 9 starters if Reid plays.

Already made 3 transfers for -8 hit. Is it worth going for trabsfer for -12 hit. Thinking Holgate or Chambers to Mori. Or crouch to Carol? Any other suggestions would be appreciated please.

    Foster (Grant*)
    Coleman Reid (Holgate* chambers* Azpil*)
    Mané Coutinho Siggy King (Eriksen*)
    Llorente lukaku (Crouch*)

Not really tbh. We all know what he can do even after coming in second half.

That team needs him or else they won't achieve their goal(to finish in top4).

Talking about it, one thing which I fear is commitment by Alexis, I feel he just doesn't care anymore about the club.

      No.

Two awkward fixtures GW29/30, so I'm going to monitor him over those two games. I want to monitor how Wenger is going to deal with him as well.

I'm more interested in Walcott coming back into form.

I'm putting eriksen back in for GW29 instead.

Yea you could be right. I've just been stung so many times by tony pulis sides that it's a fixture I'm just not interested in.

Hopefully he comes back with a bang, and I will then bring him straight back in!
