A trio of Josh Kings saved the Gameweek for the ScoutCast regulars, steering Jonty, Andy and myself to respectability, despite a scattering of ill-fated transfer hits. Meanwhile, AZ drops in with his own unique solution to the curtailed Gameweek 28, as he deals a controversial early Wildcard to help prepare for the choppy waters.

The Wildcard is a key focus of this week’s episode, as we extend our recent Hot Topic to the ScoutCast airwaves, arguing the optimum time to activate the most precious of chips.

Elsewhere, we spare a moment to weigh up the “essential” status of the aforementioned Cherries midfielder, consider the recent unrest surrounding Sanchez and Lukaku and discuss the fall-out from Kane’s twanged ankle.

    Ignore Walker at you peril ?

    I dont think there is a better defender for next 6gw's than Walker. He ticks all the boxes of fixtures form and attacking potential.

    Form ✔ - 5 cs 2 assist in last 8

    Attacking potential ✔ - 6 assists in total (most by a defender)

    Though he's 6.4 i think the price is justified like Coleman

      What if you want at differential to catch up those who have Walker. Have to take a chance plus Kane out means his assist potential is somewhat diminished. A great option to have if you are leading though

    Sanchez (C) over Lukaku?

    Always performs best on the road, WBA leaking goals, Hull have been defensively quite tight since Silva came in and play much better against bigger sides who need to take the initiative.

      Might seem crazy but Alli goes through long quiet spells, Liverpool are pretty reliable against other top sides, and Mane is does better at home than away.

    Happy Friday:
    - I'm going to have to drop one of Carroll, Firmino, Baines, Alonso or Llorente.
    - But then again, considering bringing in Sanchez for -4 for Firmino in which case it would be two of them.
    - Carroll and Alonso are my two favourites for the chop if so.

      I am thinking Alonso. Chelsea have no clean sheet in 3, and he's only got 4 goals and 3 assists, Stoke seem to be defending well too.

      Though, the last time I benched him he scored and was seconds away from a clean sheet and 3BPs against the Gunners.
