We delve into the Gameweek 32 Opta data this morning in the first membersโ article of the week.
Man Cityโs in-form front man is amongst a host of candidates under analysis, with a pair of Palace attackers also on our radar ahead of double Gameweek 34. We also assess Spurs’ weekend hero as the transfers-in escalate before taking a look at the downturn in output by Arsenal and Swansea Cityโs main men.
Is Kane essential for a hit if you still have a wildcard? I'm considering waiting till GW35.
Depends on rest of your team, and who you'd be losing. I'd say Mo, just based on your info above though
If you have at least two of Alli, Eriksen and Son and are captaining Lukaku that shouldn't be too bad... but you know the risks! ๐
Essential, no. Did I take the hit? For sure. Holding my wc.
I've done it without a hit. I would've probably done it with a hit, but kind of depends on who you're losing.
Pickford
Alonso, Valencia, Holebas
Sanchez, Alli, Eriksen, King
Ibra, Lukaku, Carroll
Heaton, Mawson, Fletcher, Evans
2FT, 1.1m ITB. WC and BB left
A
GW33: Carroll to Benteke
GW34: Heaton + Evans to Valdes + Boro def (can't afford Gibson)
B
GW33: Sanchez + Carroll to Zaha + Kane
GW34: Evans to Gibson
A i think we should see another performance from Alexis against Boro.
B
I agree with A
Pickford
Vertonghen Brunt Valencia
Eriksen Sanchez Alli Siggy
Costa Origi Lukaku
Jacupovic-Clayton SWard Yoshida
1ft 0.3itb
A)Brunt->JWard
B)Sanchez->Zaha
C)Costa+Eriksen->Kane+Zaha
D)Costa->Benteke
E)Sanchez+Origi->Zaha+Kane
Thanks
A or E if it allows Costa to Ibra next week
Neither A or E will allow me do Costa>Ibra.Only if i do B but don't want to.
Still have WC? Maybe save and do Sanchez and Costa/Origi to Zaha and Ibra next week if you do
How is E possible?
Right starting 11 & Gtg?
Heaton
Alonso Holgate Pieters
Firmino Alli(vc) Sanchez Siggy
Kane Lukaku(C) Llorente
Jaku Robertson Capoue Evans.
Would wanna get Swans out soon though but gtg
Suppose so, have more need to lose Evans I reckon but always seem to be other priorities
Kun + Walcott -> Kane + Sterling/sane? Thoughts?
Think I'd rather have a few mids before Sterling/Sane. Like Alli, Eriksen, Zaha, ..
Morning you lot, I've been tinkering with a potential WC team for after GW34 and can't decide to go 352 or 353, what do you reckon?
It boils down to:
352: Forster, Sanchez, Gestede
Or
343: Lloris, Redmond, Lukaku
Bench boost would mean all players play in 37
Whichever doesn't have Gestede is the better one
Personally I'd want Sanchez in a 343 for the doubles. Would mean a cheaper playing striker but worth it over a cheap 5th mid for me.
Cool. I think I might just sign up for the remaining GWs
Cheers guys, fair point on the Gestede comment!
After finishing just outside the top 10k last season, wanna keep my place in it this. My question is, is all the data and exclusive member stuff worth registering, for the whole season and also just the remaining GWs?
It's definitely worth it for the full season. Really helpful stats. You don't need them to do well in the game, but the information doesn't hurt.
Pickford
Alonso, Bavies, Brunt
Sanchez, Alli, Eriksen, King, Siggy
Lukaku, Ibrahimovic
Heaton, Rondon, Maguire, Amat
2ft 0.3itb
Siggy > Zaha a no brainer?
Yep
Yes then 2ft next week to bring in Valdes and Boro def.
Or Sanchez + Rondon to Zaha + Kane and then only 1ft next week for Boro def probably
I have a similar dilemma.
Wish I could. I'm maxed out on Spurs assets
Ah right. Yeah Siggy to Zaha looks good
Nice to see Brunt there. Thought I was the only one that still owns him
Ha been nightmare recently ain't he
So glad I've still got Aguero
Why
Read the article
Ummmmm ๐
Its a members artice thing
Who're your other two strikers?
Lukaku and Benteke
Pretty content too. Still, that price tag makes me expect more. Value and all that. My rank needs him to explode!!
How are these boys looking for this weekend? this is for a -4:
Randolph
Baines Pieters Davies
Sanchez Eriksen Zaha Firmino Sterling
Kane (c) Lukaku
Jaku - Valencia Barnes Friend
Atletico vs Leicester score predictions?
3-0
2-0
0-0
game is on calderon so 3-1? 2-0? something like that
thinking 3-1 or 2-1 for the bet365 offer
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Think Leicester could nick one.
Cheers guys.
Gibson or Valencia for dgw
Gibson will play both games - not too sure Valencia will tho
So Gibson?
Preferably yes
Gibson
Any update on Chambers injury keeps saying he's back next week and never is
I know! I want him fit for the double GW
3k overall, but only 40 clear of ML rival, who will certainly captain Luka....who i don't have, do i bring him in and captain (coverage) or do i go for top 1k and go with Kane C....decisions
Get lukaku but captain Kane?
aye, sadly i have neither....and i have son/alli/davies,,,, think ill just get kaku C and move onto kane later on
Get lukaku this week for the armband then swap him for ibra
yeah, i have ibra, but i think I'm erring towards kaku with triple spurs already
Money league?
yeah, big one too...
Go for that. Your OR is good enough. That's what I would do at least.
Few years back I concentrated on my ML victory (800€). Still finished 54 OR though.
haha not quite as big as ur ML i guess... i think ill focus on ML then, bragging rights are crucial for next year
True! The whole point of this innit?! ๐
BIG PREDICTION, I know there is a spreadsheet but I did my own research. The best date for Southampton vs Arsenal is Thursday 4th May as both sides already play on Sunday. That falls in GW36. You are all welcome.
Doesnt that fall on GW35?
Based on United's Thursday fixtures I guess it does which makes a huge difference. Spurs play on Friday 5th as GW36 which threw me.
Its gonna be 3th/4th (gw35) or 10th (gw36).
Leaning towards 10th as it`s still not announced.
Contact the league, they seem to have some issues finding the day.
Way off topic but best ways to stay awake at work? Surviving on 2 hours sleep here. Still have 8 hours to go!

Who would you rather have for Gw34
Lukaku(whu) or Aguero(MAN)
Kaku.
Kaku but having both's not a bad thing
Trick question
Kun
Hows this looking?
Jaku (Valdes)
Alonso - Davies - Robertson (Valencia, Yoshida)
Sanchez - Hazard - Alli - Siggy (T.Carroll)
Ibrahimivic - Carroll - Lukaku (c)

Will make 1 transfer next week to get another double week 34 player, making total 4: Siggy>Zaha, or Boro defence (Maybe not already having Valdes), or Carroll>Negredo.
Is 4x DGW 34 enough? No wildcard left and putting more in ruins team a bit..
Ta.
a very good team . G2G mate
Yh
GTG I'd probably have 2 it's a bad dgw imo so stick to spurs assets
Yah I'm only having 4 for dgw; Hennessey, Barragan, Zaha and Ibra. very uninspiring dgw imo, plus lots of question marks over the united boys - I've actually sold Valencia cos it was annoying me too much!
Triple Captain conundrum still making me ponder. Thoughts please. This is assuming BB in GW37...
Option 1: Ibra in GW34. Burnley (a) and Man City (a). Chances are he may blank in one and score in the other, so looking at something like 8-10 pts total, which I guess would be ok and similar to Aguero in GW27.
Option 2: Sanchez in GW35/36. Spurs (a) and then possibly Southampton (a). This option only really viable if Wenger finally gives in and sticks him up front again, which I guess is possible.
Option 3: Single GW player eg Kane/Alli this week and hope for an explosion.
Any other suggestions? At the moment I’m looking at option 1 as being the safe option as I guess a lot of people will be playing it then.
Shame BB is pretty much nailed for GW37 otherwise lot of great options there.
Probably Sanchez. Best to get 2 bites of cherry. Tempted to captain Zaha for the dgw, be worried Ibra might be a rotation risk especially for the Burnley game.
You don't think Zaha is a rotation risk?
Serious question, since I have no clue.
It's all a bit of a worry, especially with united given what happened when Liverpool did the same and prioritised the UEL last year.
Boro and Palace players less susceptible to the rotation imo
You bb in say 35/36 and use TC in 37 or there's plum fixtures in 38 but I will use it on Alexis
Atm I'd go 1 over 2, but Alli this week might be the best option. (I wouldn't risk Kane as he might not play 90 min)
I'm so tempted to TC Kane this week but just a week since he's back from injury might just be too much of a risk for something I can use only once. I'm definitely putting the armband on him though.
If Alexis is playing up top against Boro I might save it for him otherwise I probably will just put it on Ibra. It really sucks that we have such bad options right. Now.
Madness to TC Kane this week - it's a SGW, he's just back from injury, and he may not even start.
Kane will start
Unless you are Spurs' fitness coach whose prime objective is to get him 100% fit for the Cup semi final, you can't say this with absolute certainty (I think he will probably start too fwiw).
Disagree. He will start, he’ll be fired up, and Bournemouth can’t defend for toffee. Hat-trick alert.
Kane this week!
What about Gabbiadini for Hull+Ars or Liv+Ars? (35/36)
Ooh Gabbiadini is quite a good shout! When is he due back?
Any day now!
Lost on last post!
Am I G2G here?
Pick / Henn
Vert Stones Holgate / Barragan Yoshi
Eriksen © Alli Sanchez Zaha Haz
Kun Kaku / Anichebe
Am thinking it's either Spurs mid or Kaku captain.... Fancy captain on big Rom quite a bit with triple spurs!
Ibra for Kun for 34, but think that'll be the extent of my dgwers.
Thanks!
Yeah it's good
Cheers bro
Looks very nice
Yep G2G. Nice midfield.
A. Fletcher > Zaha (bench Negredo)
B. Kun > Kane (bench Fletcher)
C. save
A
B
Definitely A
Pick two please:
a) Jakupovic
b) Heaton
1) Maguire
2) Barragan
Heaton Barragan
Heaton Maguire... Heaton cos you don't want double Hull!
This
Pick 3 Def to start from list below?
A Azpi
B Valencia
C Mawson
D Berty
E Brunt
Headache with this one thanks for help?
Azpi Valencia Mawson
Eww
Valencia Mawson I reckon definitely... Wba on hols and brunt benched a lot recently so he's definitely benched. Gotta hope Valencia plays for attacking returns. Final between azpi and Bertie.. Bertie a tiny bit more likely to get attacking returns so maybe just him?
Abc
Really want to go for Aguero (1 DGW) on WC but it would mean no Alexis (2 DGWs)
Wait until the 1st dgw has passed? Then get kun?
Decent shout. Hopefully its in 35
Good stuff by the folk of Dortmund with their #bedforawayfans...Nice....
+1 ! Could never see that happening in England.
#bedforspursfans

Lol hmm, think you're right, not sure you'll get much uptake on those hashtags!
Sadly, nor could I...
There's too much you don't support such a team so you can f**k yourself with a lot of football fans in England
Wouldn't do this if it was Liverpool fans - you'd wake up in the morning, go downstairs and your TV would be gone.
Along with your car radio of course
(N.b. for po faced people out there this is clearly in jest... But can't be too careful on the interwebs these days!)
Eh eh calm down.
I've just posted your comment and home address in the Liverpool Echo. Sleep well ๐
๐
Trying to make up some ground on the top 10k. Any ideas what to do to help with that?
Pickford
Valencia, stones, bertrand
Sanchez, alli, eriksen, zaha
Kane, lukaku, Carroll
Valdes, yoshida, ndidi, benalouane
0ft, 3.0itb
Hey buddy. Probably want to be going with the differential © rather than making a move. Something like Kaku © when all else are doing Kane is the sort of thing that took me to the top 4k last year... But you have to get lucky ofc
I ended top 4k last year too, but with currently being at 26k and only my bb left im struggling to see myself improve on that, thinking if I am to have chance I need to at least try something different. So seems like I should probably captain kane...
Had a relative shocker here, down in 80k. Hoping I can challenge for 10k after dgws but it's not been the best. Focusing on ML over OR but they tend to go together. Hopefully it'll all look different after 37 :). Just go with your gut
Is it crazy to bench boost 34? I will have 8 DGW and other players are decent. I still have WC and TC so can do the obvious 37BB but have a feeling I will want to TC Kane then.
8 DGW players in 34 is too much imo, there aren't many good options. I'd 100% BB in 37.
I like this idea, if I still had tc that's what id be doing
People went hard on GW28, I resisted and did alright apart from my captain. I have been planning for 34 for ages as no other doubles to distract me.
Got a link to your team? Who are your 8 DGWers?
Anyone with Negredo losing him for Kane rather than sell Aguero?
With not starting last gw feels stupid to hold for 34 vs others.
Will Aguero be able to score a haul against Southampton? I got a feeling their defence is too tight to hit hard figures..
Im feeling 1 goal is the maximum
theyve been decent defensively, but at the end of the day its still yoshida and stephens...
If anyone can it's him so don't write him off
Not writing him off
He needs to deliver with Lukaku ๐
I am hoping for a 2-2 draw
2 Aguero goals and 2 Tadic goals ๐
Too much right?
Ill take those Aguero goals ๐
Kun out for Kane for -4?
Don't think so, unless also significantly improving somehere else.
