Gradually weaned off our double fixture helping and returned to normality, the ScoutCast team take time out to pick through the wreckage of Gameweek 34, before we set our sights firmly on what lies ahead.

Wildcards and Bench Boost chips lodged up their end of season sleeves, Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to embrace another round of community questions.

With the rebuilding programme imminent, we take a look at those shot-term punts who can do a job in Gameweek 35, before weighing up single fixture assets who can possibly hold their own amid the forthcoming circus of Gameweek 37.

And, of course, we carry out our weekly appraisal of Alexis Sanchez, as the Chilean hints at a return form just as an irresistable Eden Hazard closes in.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

How nailed do we reckon Sane is for the rest of the season? hasn't had many returns of late and Sterling might take some of his mins when Silva comes back?

And Valencia owners - what to you reckon the chances are he starts on Sunday? I doubt it myself.

That Jeff Shreeves is a terrible interviewer it is like he is trying to lead children with questions.

    'Are you happy?

In a way does that red card make it a better win?'

There is a program called 'School around the Corner' in Ireland where children are interviewed.

It is very similar to that.

Don't take a hit for a keeper ? Well I bought DDG in for a hit in GW30.

Since then him and Heaton have given me a Clean Sheet for the past 5 GW's

42 points in total over the past 5 weeks, so 8 points per game average.

Taking a hit for a keeper ? Definitely worth it. Another FF myth well and truly broken.

Think DDG will work out for rest of the season, looks nailed for Prem games whilst Romero plays Europa League.

It has been the way forward until now, at least. Of course I wonder now if DDG will play this weekend... but keepers don't get tired, do they? 😉 And romero seems confident in EL

      Yeah it is bull.
You take a hit where you think it will get your more points simple as that!

The odds of it paying off for defenders is reduced because the upside is much smaller. It's not bull

It is because a defender could be involved in a 0-0, get bonuses, or the defender could get an assist if an attacking full back, it only 'feels' like the odds are much smaller.
It is all in the biases of the human mind taking over.

Rubbish sorry. The word "could" is what is operative here. The bias is based on simply playing the odds, which is a huge part of the game. Sometimes you roll the dice and get lucky though, sometimes your defender/gk are injured and need to be removes for a hit of course

Foster, had him and Heaton since GW1, always buy good keepers for the long term.

Ironically he kept a clean sheet the week I took him out but I would have played Heaton over him anyway (who didn't keep a clean sheet) if I hadn't taken a hit for DDG.

Re post as at end of last article

    City

Kun seems to have hand injury
Sane looked poor and probably rested next week
Caballero may be best keeper for double week at 4.7m
    De Bruyne looks best player
Sterling too greedy and can't score
Jesus did not get enough time to tell and was he limping at end

    United
De Gea and Bailly look only 2 worth investing in.
Rashford looked done in. Perhaps carrying a knock as well
    Valencia good but gametime unclear

Try with rashford to afobe. think he is good differential considering the price (only 5.5-5.6) and upgrade ward-prowse with redmond, ox, zaha, or some other dgw37 player
