Our post-Gameweek members article assessing some of the top performers arrives once again this evening.

With many Fantasy managers now looking to wield Wildcards, we cast an eye over in-form and in-demand attackers and also assess some of the stand-out assets in defence ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

        90%

I can't decide on Alli/Eriksen so I want to give it a day. I'll do Sanchez > Hazard provided I can get Sanchez in later for the same price

Definitely not, none of the sites predict it and wildcards and double gameweek means these are probably conservative too

I'll give it it's own comment.

For years I've listened to folk saying that the pace of the prem is what sets the PL apart compared to Spanish football that's too slow...I beg to differ...

This game is just like any other game I see from Real Madrid...it's absolutely lightening quick and damned near frantic.

I think that pace thing is an Urban myth.

The difference between the PL and La liga is mainly that the top teams of LL are of an entirely different quality. The bottom half teams are more or less similar, while the teams around 4-7 in Spain also better the English ones (see recent years EL results).

Yes he has scored 8 goals in the last 1,5 CL ties but does he actually do anything apart from that? Not influential at all like say a Charlie Adam or a Jimmy Bullard. Wouldn't even have him in the top 100 ever.

Needing a goal doesn't mean they will actually get that goal and Siggy isn't going to realistically going to score free kicks every match

Why does one have to be better than the other?...I've never understood why folk need to do that.

They're the two best ever by a stretch.. i give Ronnie the edge as he has absolutley dominated two different leagues and has led his country against all odds to glory also.. If people think Messi then fair enough but yet to see a valid argument other than crap like Messi isn't human and Messi is on another level which actually doesn't make sense in any way.. come at me with a decent argument and i'll listen all day..

Yep, definitely the 2 best ever. I do think Messi is a significant distance ahead of him though, has so much to his game. Does things that no one can do with the ball. What a goalscorer Ronnie is though!

Don't like the leading his country to glory argument, he wasn't even at his greatest in the Euros and the format was shoite.

Messi is superior as a footballer and history will write that no one can change it. Cristiano is lethal and has incredible phyisical attributes but no comparison should be made between the two as footballers as messi is on another level.

      1. KingNidge
        • 10 Years

Actually as things stand history will write that Ronaldo achieved greatness with two different teams in two very different leagues and on the international stage.. they play at the same level.. Messi is easier on the eye on the pitch these days i'll accept that but there is a lot more to it than that and the whole "another level" business i find staggering tbh.. Messi hasn't achieved anything in the game that Ronaldo hasn't
