You get your Wildcard active, and we’ll do the maths. Or rather Jonty will.

This week’s ScoutCast gets highly technical as my aforementioned co-host goes all Rachel Riley on us (wishful thinking) and attempts to bewilder with a cheeky little algorithm he’s just happened to have rustled up.

Attempting to cut through the noise of the forthcoming double Gameweeks, Andy and Luke join me while Jonty gives his numbers an airing via another round of your targeted queries.

We chew over Gabbiadini’s demise, assess the Gameweek 37 potential offered by Spurs and Chelsea and, yet again, make another assessment of a slumbering Sanchez.

The end result all leads to the ScoutCast Wildcard template squad, as Big Vic crashes in and Luke stands alone in shunning Arsenal’s Chilean timebomb.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Looks like I am playing 4-5-1 this week

Benching Benteke & Rashford in preparation for them being sold next week

That formation is the most exciting I have used, for something like 6-7 weeks... I feel that to be more balance as compared to other formations as well 😀

Bottom on the previous page, need help deciding.

    DDG Pickford
    Bailly Vertonghen Stones Stephens Barragan
    Hazard Eriksen Sane Ozil deRoon
    Lukaku Kane Gabbi

    0.4itb 0FT

    A)
    Barragan > Yoshi for -4

    B)
    Barragan > Gabriel for -4

    C)
Bailly > Monreal for -4, Bailly did play last night so even more chance of risk

    D)
    Hold

      C for me.

Ive just benched Yoshi for this week as im not getting eluded to the saints defence who effectively have nothing to play for now.

    Morning all. My team is:

    De Gea (Caballero)
    Kompany, Huth, Yoshida* (Gabriel*, Bailly)
Sanchez C*, Hazard, King, Eriksen (Albrighton)
    Jesus, Gabbi*, Kane

Bench look right? Not sure about playing Gabriel over Kompany or Huth.

Gabriel was terrible last match. If Mustsfi even had a sniff he'll be out. Not a risky pick as branded about on here, just a straight up bad pick

    Active and I'm looking like:
    Cech
    Gabriel Stephens Yosh Maguire
    Hazard Sanchez(c) Alli
    Gab Jesus Costa
    Bench: Jak, Stones, Albrighton, Herrera
Is it wise doubling saints and Arsenal? 16 points off top who currently only had Yosh DGW and no card...

    Cech, Pickford
    Yoshida, Stephens, Monreal, Evans, Alonso
    Eriksen, Sanchez, Pedro, ****, ****
    Kane, Gabbiadini, Jesús

    A) Hazard + Fletcher
    B) Son + Sané
    C) Any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

      A

      or

Hazard Carroll and Koscielny (instead of Monreal)

I'd advise to get rid of Evans for Holgate too (so you could make it Hazard Carrolll Holgate Caballero in for **** & **** Evans and Pickford)

Sanchez (TC) 36 vs GW 38 TC
    Who are you preferring?

    Morning,
I know we've all had our fill of template WC drafts, but if you could digest this 'wafer-thin' mint of a team and suggest any improvements, I'd be very grateful. Have 0.2M itb and Maguire could become Holgate to generate further cash, so worried there's an upgrade I've missed! (Playing BB next week).

    Czech/Willy
    Alonso, Monreal, Yoshi, Stephens, Maguire
    Haz, Alexis, Alli, Sane, King
    Kane, Jesus, Anichibe

Worth starting Stephens ahead of Bailly and Stones?

(Think I have an irrational love for Stephens after he has given me 9 and 8 point hauls of the bench recently).

Thanks - going in with low expectations, but stranger things have happened.

If they do somehow get a clean sheet, Stephens seems to be front of the queue for bonus points.

How did you manage to get yourself in that situation? Nightmare! I'd go for Erik or Gabbi - and hate it. Whether you're chasing or leading should be a factor too, taking your oppo's players into consideration.

Problem is not knowing who has something to play for in 38. It might come down to Gylfi v West Brom in 38!

I've convinced myself that a weakened Man U and mutinous Southampton represent a decent opportunity for Sanchez returns, as I'm not set up to BB this week

    Lads Please help me out!!!!!

Am I gtg? On a WC and 0.5m ITB.

Also advice on my starting line up this week?

    Cech (Pick)

    Gabriel Yoshida Alonso (Vert Stephens)

    Hazard Sanchez Sane Son (Carrick)

    Kane Jesus Gabbi

All players are DGWK players and I intend to bench boost next week. (Planned changes for next week are Cech to Willy and Gab to Monreal if Mustafi chages their line up).

No to Son. Can you upgrade to Alli or Eriksen instead?

      1. Virgil Hilts

Gab has 2 doubles and Holgate doesn't, I looked at that but went against that.

            • 9 Years

I wouldn't play Gabriel outside BB37 with your other defenders taking priority. You have Arsenal def in Cech, and Gabriel are risk of not playing much in 37 if Mustafi returns from injury or Wenger decides Holding is better option.

At least Holgate has a nice fixture in 37 for BB and looks nailed and cheap as chips.

            1. Gegenpress
              • 9 Years
              8 years, 7 months ago

But Holgate only gives me 0.7m, I need 2m for Son to Alli

      2. Gegenpress
        • 9 Years
        8 years, 7 months ago

        Thanks for your reply.

I had Alli up until the WC. But can't seem to get funds to bring him in, the only option is Gabbi to Anich and it allows me to do Son to Alli.

It's a difficult one either Anich and Alli or Son and Gabbi.

For Spurs it's either Son or Dembele who will take that last spot in mistake and atm Son seems to be holding it down and could play as a differential

I have Gabriel and Cech. Benching the former. I know he is risky but might as well keep him this week on sell him if his prospect doesn't look good? I like Arsenal chances in 37 and he might keep his place if Wenger plays 3 at the back?

Or should I just get Huth (or anyone?) now to save the trouble?

If I had 0.2 I'd seriously consider Anichebe > Barnes too

Gabriel to Huth for nice fixtures in 36/38?

    Cech (Pickford)
    Alonso Koscielny Yoshida (Stephens Holgate)
    Sanchez(c) Hazard(v) Alli Eriksen King
    Kane Jesus (Anichebe)

    Considering some last minute tinkering...

    Cech Koscielny King Anichebe >
    Caballero Monreal Pedro Barnes?

3 spurs attacking is kinda overkill, imo. Downgrade Alli/Eriksen to Sane and spend money elsewhere

I like the team but think you are weakening it with the transfers.

Too many eggs in Spurs basket if anything, thems tough fixtures and can't see them hitting 4 again. Alli or Erik to Sane, Pedro or a differential Liverpool mid would release cash to get Barnes, and for me to get red of one the Soton defs

Cheers both. Issue is my rival has Sane, but only Eriksen as Spurs cover ATM. Keeping all 3 this wk could be a ridiculous differential..

    Morning

    Heaton
    Baines Davies Yoshida
    Hazard Sanchez Eriksen King
    Lukaku Kane Gabi

    Bank 2.3
Keep Lukaku or buy Jesus? Or something different?

    Thank you. 🙂
