You get your Wildcard active, and we’ll do the maths. Or rather Jonty will.

This week’s ScoutCast gets highly technical as my aforementioned co-host goes all Rachel Riley on us (wishful thinking) and attempts to bewilder with a cheeky little algorithm he’s just happened to have rustled up.

Attempting to cut through the noise of the forthcoming double Gameweeks, Andy and Luke join me while Jonty gives his numbers an airing via another round of your targeted queries.

We chew over Gabbiadini’s demise, assess the Gameweek 37 potential offered by Spurs and Chelsea and, yet again, make another assessment of a slumbering Sanchez.

The end result all leads to the ScoutCast Wildcard template squad, as Big Vic crashes in and Luke stands alone in shunning Arsenal’s Chilean timebomb.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I just know Negredo is after me again this GW.

Bought him and captained him on his DGW blank.

Benched him for his haul v Man City and didn't autosub in.

Gone double Chelsea defence on WC.

    Chelsea v Boro this GW.

My crystal ball has already predicted he scores.

Exactly my dilemma - ideally I'd risk Gabriel this GW and then have the benefit of Vert with 2 games on bench boost. But it's a risk if Wenger changes it. Kos and Holgate is less risk.

Have 4.9 to spend. Currently on WC and Gabriel. Please fill in the last slot for me. Thanks!
    (1) Keep Gabriel (i'm benching him anyway this week and hope for the best for 37)
    (2) Dawson (CS in 37 unlikely but goal threat?)
    (3) Huth (same as above)
    (4) SGW'ers Mawson, Smith, Holgate, ??

I don't see many/any Swansea defenders in wildcard teams - are these bring overlooked as sgw enablers?

For instance, Naughton is 4.3 - cheap enabler price, Sunderland in 37 and WBA in 38. Probably motivated until the final kick of the game.

Surely worth considering as a Holgate alternative in wildcard teams if you have the extra 0.2. Fernandez is 4.2 as well and Rangel returning to training is 4.1.

May well be bringing one in next week (enables Monreal/Kosc) - and am pretty comfortable going into the final weeks with highly motivated 2x Hull and 1x Swansea players alongside my big hitters.

The thing is most people won't need to play their enabler in GW38 and will only field them GW37 when bench boosting. So really that's all you need to be looking at. I'd rather have a defender with two games than a Swansea defender that could conceade against anyone.

Thanks - all fair points, of course.

Under Clements, they have been known to keep the odd clean sheet against weaker opposition - and this is Sunderland and WBA we are taking about.

Over the season, they have conceded loads of goals - but this is somewhat skewed by performances in the first half of the season. They may still not be great - but at least they are "organised" these days.

We may not plan to always play these enablers in 38, but it is probably fair to say that there will be some rotational surprises for our big-hitters that week, so having nailed on and motivated players on the bench isn't the worst idea, surely?

Play one. They have a very decent record vs Arse/Pool.

Saints are on holiday, they will get hammered by Pool. I can see Arsenal scoring at least one against them

Yoshi is the one I'd consider playing, attacking returns quite possible over 2 games.

Yes, it is Davies vs Yoshida. Davies should keep a clean sheet against WH. Yosh could end up with 4pts.

yoshi only got 1 goal & 1 assist, why they always said attacking returns.... cedric has more potential with assists

I'm benching one (Yoshida) and that annoys me. I'd defiantly play Yoshida in your position.

Same & starting Yoshida, but alternatives are worse.

What's your interest in all these Saints players? Not good fixtures at all.

Forgot they had a dgw next week as well. Still not convinced though.

They are mostly fillers for my team as they are cheap.

Should I go with Walcott as Arsenal attacking cover?

              Walcott or Sterling?

Nah. Sanchez or none I'd say.

May get him for 37, but a red/black move this week.
Not sure on Sterling either if Silva's back.

But to pick one - Walcott.

                  Walcott is a brave move...

Settled on this draft - look ok? Big dilemma on Costa, but decided the extra games offered by Gabi, Kos & Cech should cover him (until 38, when I can punt).

                Cech/Willy
                Alonso/Yosh/Stephens/Kos/Holgate
                Alexis/Haz/Alli/King/Capoue
                Kane/Jesus/Gabi

I have gone Costa route with Kane and Jesus. Chelsea fixtures are too good, get him if you have the cash

After days of tinkering I think I've settled on this lot? Template as hell but any weaknesses? (BB 37)

                Willy Pickford
                Alonso Monrael Yoshida Stephens Holgate
                Sanchez Hazard Alli King Sane
                Kane Jesus Gabbi

Just template, there's a reason why it is the template.

Same as mine except I have Albrighton instead of Sane, although only because my TV isn't as good as yours. Looks GTG.

Template as you say, just don't expect to much out of the BB form Pickford, Stephens, Holgate and Gabbi

Seen Kingsley in a couple of squads. Likely to start GW37 (Olsson?) or just an option for those without BB?
