Double Gameweek 36 gets up and running at the London Stadium this evening as West Ham United entertain title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur.

The visitors roll up knowing that a win would take them to just one point behind Chelsea at the summit, with attacking trio Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen playing a prominent role in many Wildcards selctions over the last few days.

All three have merited our attention.

Kane – who has already picked up 13 points against the Hammers in Gameweek 12 – has seven goals and three assists in his last five starts and is second only to Alexis Sanchez in our Gameweek 36 Captain Poll, with 11% backing.

Eriksen has delivered double-figures in each of his previous two road trips, while Alli’s run of eight returns in the last nine Gameweeks has taken him to nine points off the top of the FPL player standings.

Devoid of a Double Gameweek, Fantasy interest in West Ham’s assets is minimal at best – the main impact will be their ability to breach a defence that’s conceded just once in their previous six.

Slaven Bilic’s side will take some solace in their 3-2 loss at White Lane back in November, though – that was one of only five times that Spurs have conceded more than a single goal in the league this season.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Really considering TC Hazard for the big one instead of using BB. After today's result Hazard will be on fire against West Brom and Watford. Could pay off ? Already have 11 Dgw player without any hits.

Surely more chance of him being rested or taken off early if it looks like they have the title sown up

Top 4 or equal make the final next GW.
No BB played this week so it's quite fair.
        Final will be BB mania.

Makes the story all the more better. Just being cynical because it's now happened just way too many times, and to think someone actually thinks they are affecting prices in a season where none of the price rise predictor sites have come anywhere near getting it right?

How many Spurs and Chelsea players do you own in total?

I own 3 (Hazard, Alonso and Kane).

What's the plan? Are you taking hits to ship them out?

Kane Alli Eriksen Hazard and Alonso. All of them will remain for GW37 although I'm tempted by Kane->Costa. However if the league is wrapped up by the first game of 37, surely Costa misses one of the final two games?

Alli and Kane were a given for the WC and Eriksens SV was 8.4 for me and there was no mid under 10m I wanted over Eriksen so was almost forced to stick

Hopefully, starting with Gestede at the Shed End?

      6

There was always going to be rotation in 37.

Always planned -4 or -8 for 37 depending on all data from 36 and pressers for 37 and injuries.

This is premature knee jerking from one match gone awry.

Hazard, Costa, Eriksen and Vertonghen for me. If its over then all teams should play with reserves:) I'm sticking with them and then in GW 38 2 punts with 2FT.

I own 6. Unfortunately bringing them in on a WC has now failed miserably.

Spurs have nothing to play for - they will finish 2nd whatever. So there is only one thing to do - make sure their vital assets do not get injured - imagine one of them got an ACL injury - it would destroy next season. That means Lloris, Rose, Trippier (if Walker is on his way out), Wanyama, Alli, Eriksen, Toby and Kane will be rested.

Chelsea will have the title wrapped up so will rest all their players too for the FA Cup. Sanchez(c) is now the correct call this GW and next GW.

There are probably only about 5 teams left with anything to play for, so holding the best players from Chelsea and Spurs is not the end of the world.

I suspect that these two clubs will play their strongest teams with just a few changes in midfield or at full back

    21. Pieterke30

      Alonso, Hazard, Alli, Kane.

Yesterday's result is annoying but there is still a chance they all play both gw37 games.

Having played my wc in GW 21 I had to plan my remaining transfers. Had planned to bring in Sané for Zaha and Vertonghen for Valencia. Will still do the former, probably not the latter

Getting rid of CHE and TOT players would require too many hits

+ imagine you get rid of Kane? For who? Costa? Might just start one of 37 too. I have Jesus already. Aguero or Vardy? All other strikers do not interest me at all... maybe Lukaku?

Has talent, but has regressed at Arsenal. I'll take him as a squad player as he can cover 3-4 positions quite well. Would improve the squad which is much needed given we'll be in Europe next season. Interested in the fee though as he only has 12 months left from this summer. Anything up until £20m~ is fine with me.

I expect Arsenal may offer him one more contract. Even though he seems set on the move.

Going to the wire either way I would think. Every week feels boom or bust.
You'll like this one. Didn't play last year because of this story. Year before led most of the season then just got complacent. Was neck and neck going in to the last game. Picked my team and went out on the Friday. You know the 2 day out type. Anyway looked at my phone and the team wasn't picked. Go home from partying screen was still open and hadn't hit save after doing so previous 37 weeks. Anyway finished on same points but came second on transfers made. Downer of it all was the fact that any other player combo in my squad was enough to win. One click away..................................

I was expecting a 0-0 or a 1-0. A West Ham win is pretty disastrous to say the least, not particularly because my player's blanked considering I actually moved up places tonight but because it means both Spurs and Chelsea will go easy now that title is that much closer to being decided.

Missed the second half action. Fluke goal or did West Ham outplay Spurs?

Odd bounce got to Lanzini in front of net. Spurs were better but played tight and West Ham blocked many chances; Eriksen's corner kicks were short and he missed an open Alli and Kane on a great chance. WH just built confidence the longer they stayed in the game.
