Marcus Rashford is a doubt for Manchester United’s trip to Arsenal. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho could be back in contention for the visit of Southampton, while Benik Afobe is sidelined for Bournemouth’s clash with Stoke.

Granit Xhaka is ruled out of Arsenal’s home clash against Manchester United, after taking a kick to his calf in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Shkodran Mustafi has returned to normal training and back-up goalkeeper David Ospina is also back to full fitness.

United boss Jose Mourinho revealed after the 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in the UEFA Europa League that Marcus Rashford had started the match with a small problem, which eventually led to the forward being withdrawn. He is a doubt for the trip to the Emirates, then, while Ashley Young appeared to pick up a hamstring problem last night, and also looks likely to miss out.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is back running and has stepped up his recovery from the dead leg that forced him off at Watford on Monday night. Skipper Jordan Henderson is still sidelined for the visit of Southampton.

West Ham United duo Andy Carroll and Arthur Masuaku are both doubts for tonight’s home meeting with Tottenham Hotspur. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic was hoping the pair would be able to train yesterday in order to prove their fitness. Carroll has missed the last two matches with a groin problem, while Masuaku has been struggling with a sore foot.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to the London Stadium, although Danny Rose remains out, with Pochettino hoping the defender will be able to return to full training next week following a knee injury.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe won’t risk midfielder Dan Gosling (calf) for the home meeting with Stoke City. Forward Benik Afobe is also sidelined with the hamstring injury he suffered in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Sunderland.

Saido Berahino has emerged as a doubt for Stoke’s trip to the Vitality Stadium due to illness. Mark Hughes is also waiting on Jonathan Walters, who will be checked again today as he continues to deal with a knee problem.

Defenders Ben Mee, Michael Keane and Stephen Ward are all injury concerns for Burnley manager Sean Dyche ahead of the home encounter with West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis will again be without Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu after the pair missed the 1-0 defeat to Leicester City due to hamstring injuries suffered in training.

Hull City head coach Marco Silva has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the home fixture against Sunderland, although Omar Elabdellaoui remains out with a back problem, despite the defender returning to training this week.

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare revealed captain Wes Morgan will miss the home fixture against Watford due to a hamstring injury. Robert Huth suffered a knock to his ankle last weekend, but the German has trained fully, and is “raring to go” according to Shakespeare.

Miguel Britos has been ruled out of the trip to the King Power Stadium with the muscle injury that forced him off during the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool. Hornets head coach Walter Mazzarri will make a decision on Jose Holebas (foot) today, though Younes Kaboul and Craig Cathcart remain out.

Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero looks set to miss the rest of the season with the hamstring injury he suffered in last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Fernando Llorente missed training during the early part of the week due to a stomach bug, but he was involved fully on Thursday and is expected to start when the Swans host Everton tomorrow.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman will again have to make do without midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for the trip to the Liberty Stadium due to a thigh problem.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tonight’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

I posted this last night (even though I've now decided against it due to not going Anichebe)

Since gwk 26, Fabregas has played all but 24 minutes of his sides home games getting 2 goals & 2 assists in those 5 games

Is it worth getting Cech over Pickford and getting Anichebe over Gabbi?

It allows Monreal to Kosc and some leftovers in case of injury.

Monreal to Kost is no advantage or disadvantage imo.

What you are really asking I think is getting Cech worth more than the difference between Gabbi and Anichebe.

I think Cech is the only almost guaranteed 4 starts in the new 2 GW with a decent shout of clean sheets.

Get Cech as the priority. Try find the cash elsewhere .... if you cant then go with anichebe.

One final suggestion ... if you are on a wildcard you could keep Gabbi for this week and transfer Anichebe in next week with the other player you used to finance Gabbi

    Bit of a dilemma here.
I'm playing catch up on the teams ahead of me in my league so thinking about taking a points hit to try and gain ground before the dgw comes around.

    Options I'm torn between are;

Status Quo = Aguero, Davies (eve), Gibson

Costa in for Lukaku for not points hit

Costa, Son and Jagielka in for Aguero, Davies (eve) and Gibson (8 point hit)

Jagielka, Ozil, Jesus for Aguero, Davies (eve) and Gibson (8 point hit again)

Gibson, Holgate, Lukaku for Costa, Jagielka and Yoshida (8pts)

I know Aguero is a slight doubt...I just think Chelsea players are going to take points in all of their fixtures.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

    Cheers!

Agonising over a Sanchez vs Sanchezless WC. The sanchezless team looks so much stronger in all other areas! The other question would be who to captain this week without Sanchez?

    AlexIn:

    Willy / Pickford
Monreal Cahill Huth / Stephens Holgate
    Sanchez Hazard Eriksen King Albrighton
    Kane Jesus / Ani
    0 ITB

    AlexOut:

    Willy / Cech
Monreal Cahill Vert / Stephens Holgate
    Pedro Sane Hazard Eriksen King
    Kane Jesus / Ani
    0 ITB

RMT says Sanchez in will score more points across the 3 game weeks but less in GW37, however Jonty's algorithm and form suggests that going without Sanchez is the best move.

Any suggestions welcome as it's twisting me to pieces!

    Thanks very much

First time I took a look at my WC team this week. It's very template, but my competitor blew his WC a month ago. What do you think?

    Caballero, Pickford
    Alonso, Monreal, Huth, Stephens, Yoshida
    Sanchez, Hazard, Sane, Alli, King
    Kane, Jesus, Anichebe
    0.7 ITB
    Suggestions?

    DDG (Grant)
    Valencia/Davies/Yoshida (Mawson, Chambers)
    San(C)ez/Alli/Tadic/Zaha (De Roon)
