Double Gameweek 37 finally comes to an end this evening as Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur go head-to-head at the King Power Stadium at 7.45pm.

After grabbing his side’s second in Sunday’s win over Man United, Harry Kane is now just two goals behind Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Golden Boot.

Having returned eight goals and three assists in his last seven starts, the Spurs striker has been handed the armband by 5.5% of FPL managers – more than any player in tonight’s encounter.

For Christian Eriksen’s 18% FPL owners, the Double Gameweek serves up one final twist – the Dane drops to the bench tonight after earning eight points against United last weekend.

Elsewhere for the visitors, Dele Alli starts as he looks to arrest a run of one goal in his previous four – the midfielder was transferred out by 56,000 FPL managers ahead of Tottenham’s pair of fixtures.

The hosts’ Jamie Vardy is the eighth most popular armband pick (2.4%) of Double Gameweek 37 on the back of seven goals and five assists in 11 appearances since Craig Shakespeare took the helm.

Meanwhile, Foxes wide man Marc Albrighton has flourished as a budget asset across that period, producing two goals and five assists in 10 outings under the new man in charge.

Best replacement for gabbi up to 8.5 mil that isn't giroud?

Sam vokes or llorente are the only ones that I could think off. Neither are very desirable...

If you find 0.1 and are a maniac you could grab Rooney, might be last game in a united shirt. You could hope he delivered a goal or two, even though he is a donkey at this stage

        It's either bringing in

        Coutinho and Llorente

        Or

        Fabregas and Sturridge.

        Shipping haz and gabbi

Would actually go for option B. More risky but are looking at them myself

Both are also differantials, but you should see if firmino is back regarding playtime

i think it's "fairly" safe to say that the triple captain chip is probably more valuable than the bench boost.

harry kane getting 93 points TC!, that's 62 extra.

*or 31 extra to a captain i concede. did you benchwank? 35 is pretty high score. i got 21 which was my highest of season and was happy with it

A fair challenge given that I didn't really choose my bench this week. But your argument relies on picking the right captain in the right week. I had Kane any didn't give him the armband.

The problem with the TC chip is you need to get it right... BB is a lot easier to nail, or at least be successful with...

      1. My Name Is Prince

Or, put it this way, if you TC someone who blanks then it affects you heavily negatively, it has a stronger downside to it than BB...

Disagree. Have had 23 and 30 from my 2 bb with nothing spectacular. Kane and Sanchez have been completely out of the ordinary spectacular scores and only just beat this if you did normal captain

    6. Peggi
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 1 month ago

I think this season is a bit of an exception, not every season will the clear TC option score around 30. And BB did not live up anywhere near expectations this week but most people still got about 15 from it.

Both are worth approx. 20 points when played in DWGs

      1. Deeney-is-a-god
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 1 month ago

Last year sanchez and aguero got 25 and 26.
This year kane and samchez got 31 and 27 (Jesus got 19, not bad either)

I feel like a lot of the heavy hitters perform towards the end of the season, and if you pick the ones with good fixtures and something to play for they deliver.

BB also requires more planning, and it's hard to get a good bench without wilcarding the week before

I had a very serious doubt. I know this can attract many sarcastic comments but please answer my question first. I will accept all kinds of sarcasm later. 😛

If I change my team name now, something like "Who's the daddy now?". Just for bragging purposes, will it lead to my account getting deleted/ points getting minused/ or me getting out of all leagues/ or any negative effect.

    Very serious doubt.

Will Alli start on Sunday given that he played full 90 today and Eriksen didn't play at all?

I'm sitting 15 points ahead of 2nd place in my ml for Sunday and want to get Kane in to block off the person in 2nd.

Starting Cech over Caballero as the guy below me in the league has him. Who to TC? http://imgur.com/a/7JDbw

I'd go with Caballero because you've got an Arsenal defender.
On the TC... Cout/Sanchez/Jesus... dunno 🙁

Hey lads does this look good to go?

    Cab
    Cahill Davies
    Pedro Sanchez Hazard Eriksen King
    Kane Jesus Anichebe

Pickford Monreal Yosh Stephens 2 FT AOA active

Hazard and Anchiebe ---> Coutinho and Llorente?

    Exact cash Cheers

He might but to be fair he looks tired. Nothing to play for. Coutinho gets 90 mins 100% of the time (without injury) and has something to play for

Just scrap the AOA, forcing you into daft moves and you already have more than adequate bench

I'd probably hit the button tonight before price changes occur.

What is with this bandwagon repeating of Hazard likely to be benched?

    Why is he?

Had plenty of rest, last home game, has only missed 2 games all season and plays 70 mins at a minimum

Armchair experts have said he'll be benched. You can't question it.

He could play 180 minutes and still wouldn't score, sell him for the funds.

That's different though. People are saying he won't start.
        He will

Lukaku good differential captain choice for final week? Chasing 2 goals on Kane for golden boot.

      He's facing a 3 CB system.

I have no idea what that means tactically, but it doesn't sound appealing 😆
