The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

      Milner isn't worth it at all. Both Moreno and Robertson are looking as likely to get the LB spot as Milner. Firmino seems to have also taken spot kick duties off him. How you'd want to change him is up to you.

      Exactly the same here. A Brighton (away at City) defender comes on for me if he doesn't play so I'm basically risking losing points by keeping Cedric...

    Not only is Sergio Aguero a better player than Lukaku, but City are a much better side than Man Utd. Regardless of %, Aguero is a better pick, i cant understand why the herd are hell bent on convincing themselves Lukaku is a better option, fixtures this fixtures that blah blah, everyone knows, over the years, from past experience, Aguero can bag against anyone whenever he wants, he's fixture proof. The herd had me convinced for so long about Lukaku, i hope he blanks! Aguero (C)

      Why are you complaining? Aren't you glad everyone is going for a player while you go for a "better player"?

      People are going for him as most Untied FPL points and goals will come from Lukaku as with Man City, it'll be spread between so many attacking players.
