The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

            Yes Ali with Kane is spurs overkill in my opinion. Mhki could be a nice differential to Lukaku. Ritchie on pens too I think. Overall very nice.

      7/10. Personally like to have at least 2 likely starters on my bench just incase. Willian > Fabregas and lack of Liverpool cover but 2 Man City cover is baffling but a decent side none the less.

      Mine is very similar. I just went slightly more on Def & slightly less on Mid.

      I figure all out attack for the first few weeks and then it's easy to downgrade one of the strikers for a premium mid early without disrupting the team.

      Does anyone else think that Danny Rose complaining about his £65,000 per week is utterly disgraceful?
      I love football but the one thing that makes me sick is the amount of money involved. I don't see how being on a higher wage would make his life any better!

        He's living his life in comparison to other footballers, not us. He's younger, and at the same ability as Kyle Walker, so why should he earn so significantly much less than him? Footballers don't compare their wages compared to us normal folk - they compare against other footballers.
