The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    Firmino or Salah is what I'm stuck on now ... Firmino gives me Atsu instead of RLC and a bit more flexibility in the squad...

    Could just go no Liverpool at all? Will they be poor without Coutinho...

      The Kane Lukaku Firmino teams always look better than mine but I just don't want him over Salah...

      That's a great team! Save if you don't have a problem with Firmino like me.

        Id want Salah more but however I flip it, I always miss 0.5. Also hoping Firm might get pens.

        Had a great 442 with Salah but just feel 343 is more balanced.

            Glad you went with Mane. He is in my team too. Taken some slight risks in my team, but have enough who can explode in my view. And please don't laugh at the defensive pick, I have a home fixture backup on the bench in case he doesn't play. Set on Mounie with his fixtures and his finishing ability and Phillips is a placeholder.
