The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

      If he was 7.5 I would buy him. 8,5 on forward for his fixtures is not a good idea
      But I think He might score against Arsenal, Arsenal started bad last season.

    For those who keep money ITB for gameweek 1, will you really make a transfer on gameweek 2?
    2 FT on gameweek 3 makes you have the chance to upgrade one player and downgrade the other.

    I'm aware B is probably better overall but I just think DDG is so important.

      Coutinho isn't going to play this week. I'd wait on him and see what happens. Try to get Mane or at least switch to Salah.

        Yeah I already got Mane. Had to downgrade my 4.5 benched defender to a second 4.0 to fund it though. Just wondering if it's worth downgrading DDG to basically provide more depth to my defence/bench. Feel uneasy having two 4.0 defenders.
