The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    Is RLC more likely to play and more offensive than Chalobah? Isn’t Chalobah a defensive mid..?

    Anyone thinks Brady might be a good option? Walters and Vokes are great target men. Could get a fair few assists. Not saying Burnley will score many goals though, but he does have decent home games.

    Apart from GW 3, Burnley rotate well with Bournemouth over the first 12 dozen games.

      Who knows which is the better option, but the ones you mentioned above are known quantities in the epl. Lacazzette unknown. I tip there will be a time he becomes a good option but too risky atm for me

    We've seen the article on how to solve the Liverpool attacking options. Can we have on on how to solve the United defensive options?

    Bailley you would say is a shoe in and pre season Lindelof, but he has been poor. Jones......What do we think? 5m route into Man U...Rotation risk all over the back line.

      Dont think there is much of a debate on united defence. 3 nailed options with ddg bailly and valencia. Baily no attacking threat so would rather save .5 on ddg. Valencia abit too pricey for me

      I am switching back and forth between Iwobi and Fraser. Just feel Fraser is more nailed on. In your case I would stick with Phillips unless I need the .5m.
