The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    Am I mad in wanting to move from Kane to Aguero or Jesus? City are probably going to smash Brighton and score loads of goals all season. Spurs have the Wembley curse, Kane never scored in August and Chelsea up second...

        There's not much between them based on last season. Personally I think Eriksen is safer long-term, but Alli is the more explosive short-term option.

        Was also thinking a bigger pitch might make it easier for Eriksen to get assists. Eriksen has showed better form in pre-season too, so I'm saying Eriksen.

      Everybody got choices. If you're feelin Aguero, then stick. I'd go with A only because I don't think Fab is nailed in a few GW or even guaranteed 90 now.

    Fox sports team that would cost 114m in FPL, if you avoid Sanchez and Kun (who are the two highest price forwards in the game) you can choose almost anybody you want in your starting 11.
