Can you call it a comeback? Avid listeners – and there are some, honest – will certainly hope that Granville’s return to ScoutCast action will be repeated.

For now, we just have to savour him gatecrashing our early season party, armed with a very reasonable Gameweek 1 tally.

Granville joins myself, Jonty, Andy and Az in a five-aside episode for the post-mortem of the opening weekend.

    Very enjoyable Scoutcast this week, had to laugh at Mark and his dance of 7 veils comment! Good to have Granville back too, always good to hear a different opinion. If he can't make every week it would at least be good to have him join on occasion like Luke and AZ 🙂

    Would you be leaning any particular way? And why?

    I know Arsenal don't look great at the back, but I think Stoke's main goal threat against the Arsenal Defence will be crouch in the last 15 mins. Mustafi (and Mert) is back too. Kolasinac is an option because he's also Arsenal's main attacker after Lacazette (unless Iwobi plays! 😀 ).

          I'm a big Lacazette fan and while stk is not a great attacking fixture, the only big 6 team that doesn't have a poor attacking fixture is Liverpool. I prefer Lukaku, but he wasn't an option.

      Kane KDB or Kola from your team. Slightly leaning towards Kane myself too, but I'm scared Chelsea could solidify and try to see the game out to 80 mins before they try to actually score. At least, I can't see it being very open unless Chelsea collapse early on again

      Took me ages to first work out which formation to go with as I had initially set up for 5 at the back, now going with 4-3-3 with (surely he can't score again?) Hegazi on the bench.
