Can you call it a comeback? Avid listeners – and there are some, honest – will certainly hope that Granville’s return to ScoutCast action will be repeated.

For now, we just have to savour him gatecrashing our early season party, armed with a very reasonable Gameweek 1 tally.

Granville joins myself, Jonty, Andy and Az in a five-aside episode for the post-mortem of the opening weekend.

    Best 4.5m defender anybody? Debating punting on Walker-Peters but that's just 2 games at most and 1 of those is Chelsea. I can see it being a very closed affair though.

        They haven't got the best lineup over the next 5 or so..... but then I suppose neither have the alternatives. Perhaps Huddersfield or Newcastle?

        I'd rotate with a midfielder (Carroll or RLC). My 3 premium defenders are Kompany, Alonso and Kolasinac.

          People are underestimating Swansea. They only conceded 11 in 9 home matches once Clement took over. That's the same as Chelsea in that span.

    Allows a good midfield and defence, and with Lukaku potentially looking like the #1 captaincy choice, maybe a balance team of good players is a good option?
