The day’s events draw to a close at the bet365 stadium as Stoke City host Arsenal and, from a Fantasy perspective, the interest rests almost entirely with the Gunners.

Alexandre Lacazette will bid to follow up his debut strike to reward his 18.5% ownership, while the 372,000+ who have moved for Granit Xhaka this week will be hoping for instant dividends. The Swiss midfielder has been the most popular signing following his brace of assists in Gameweek 1, with 71,000+ arriving at him as a replacement for the injured Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace.

Aaron Ramsey has proved another popular solution for that particular problem, with 34,000+ making the direct swap to the Welshman from the Eagles winger. Like Lacazette, he will look to add to his Gameweek 1 goal as he returns to the scene of his horrific double leg break back in February 2010.

Interest in Mark Hughes’ men is largely limited to Joe Allen in midfield. A key budget target for a spell last season, he is owned by 4.1% heading into this encounter, as the Potters look to kick-start their campaign following last weekend’s tepid 1-0 defeat at Everton.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Hoping Alli & Eriksen can keep it on the low next 2-3 weeks. (CHE, BUR, eve)
Have Kane to cover them for Burnley hopefully.

Have other problems to deal with in my team and I think if KDB does well on Monday I can give him the next 2-3 games (EVE, bou, LIV).

    Thoughts?

Lawl. That being said, I'm curious as to how Silva performs tomorrow (KdB ovner). For that price, you just can't blank three games in a row. But, no knee jerks here!

Willian -> Pogba is surely wrong.
What if Willian scores a goal tomorrow? His price will be on the up and EVE(H) won't be the worst fixture.
What if Son scores tomorrow? Oh boy, you'll look at Spurs fixtures and think you want him too

    Very knee jerk transfer imo...

I would. It's one of the easiest transfers to make imo. I wish I was in that position!

Willian was always just temporary, and the prices are forcing the decision of when and who. Done and dusted for the week.

    DDG,
    Kompany, Stephens, Dawson, Ake,
    KDB, Salah, Zaha,
    Kake, Kaku, Mounie.

    Elliot, Atsu, Carroll, Long.

Thoughts on Ake/Tadic to Mbemba/Pogba -4? Would leave me with 2 4.0 DFs which would be a worry...

Depends on how you play. Catching the early price rises always pays off when you've managed to increase you selling value later on in the season. Others prefer to ignore the market and jut pick who they think will perform the best over the next few weeks.

  13. Deulofail

Are you holding, jerking or both? (Pardon the innuendo)

Think I'll hold fire on getting Mkhi and Chica (or Ramsey/Jese) in. With 2 transfers, there is twice the chance of a player getting injured before the weekend, and it would be nice to see David Silva play on Monday too (Mkhi Mouse competition).

Prices are such a pain though. By waiting I/we may lose money on Mkhi/Pogba and Chicharito price rises, and I may lose another 0.1 on Iwobi! What a pain that guy has been!

Luckily my transfers work out with a cushion of 0.4-0.9m, so I can afford to miss out in financial terms, rather than risk losing points in hits. TV relative to other teams could take a massive hit though.

How are price chances affecting your decisions?

    Well, Salah has become Pogba.

Makes my team much more flexible now he's gone.

If Kola fails again I can sell for Jones or a 5.5 defender, giving a really good spread of cash and flexibility. Seems the 8-9.5 category is where the value is at in midfield.
