Promoted pair Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United go head-to-head at the John Smith’s Stadium in Sunday’s early kick-off.

As both sides are braced for some favourable upcoming fixtures, today’s encounter offering us a chance to assess their main Fantasy targets as a potential source of value.

Certainly, the hosts are in fine form after last weekend’s 3-0 demolition of Crystal Palace.

Over 160,000 FPL managers acquired Steve Mounie after his brace at Selhurst Park, making him the seventh most popular transfer ahead of Gameweek 2.

The summer signing is the most captained player from this fixture – 12,000+ have handed him the armband against Newcastle’s injury-hit defence.

With Southampton, West Ham, Leicester, Burnley and Swansea in the next six, the likes of Aaron Mooy and Tom Ince could also play their way into our thinking in midfield.

For the Magpies, Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle look the likeliest source of returns for today and a promising next four fixtures (WHU swa STK bha).

Certainly, their displays on the road last term offers encouragement.

The Magpies won a club-record 46 away points last season – the joint-best record in all four divisions. Rafa Benitez’ men also chalked up a club-record 14 away victories in 2016/17, more than any side in all four divisions.

I fully expect Ritchie to move to the RW and Murphy to come on for Atsu sooner rather than later.

Ritchie is best on the right with Yedlin overlapping creating space, he then cuts inside and crosses or shoots. He's useless on the right. Not sure why Rafa has done that.
