Two Gameweeks down and already the dilemmas are building; the siren song of the Wildcard button is calling.

Failing big hitters are the major bone of contention as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me for the second ScoutCast of the season.

We give our verdicts on Spurs talisman Harry Kane, while also assessing the fall-out from Manchester City and, in particular, the shot-shy Kevin De Bruyne.

Driven by another round of community questions, we also chew over The Pogba vs Mkhitaryan debate and the big Bournemouth bail out, before previewing Gameweek 3.

Oh, and after his ten point return on the Aaron Mooy investment, we wrestle to prevent Jonty dropping his name into the conversation at every opportunity. I think I counted two. That’s a win for everyone involved.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I see Kane is now gathering momentum according to FPL statistics. I am gutted. I was hoping he would drop 0.1. I hope he blanks again this weekend. He will fall 0.1 - 0.2m over the international break and then I can bring him in for Jesus.

    A) kaku, chicha, mane, RLC

    B) laca, firminho, mane, RLC

    C) sanchez, chicharito, mane, Quaner (permanent bench fodder)

    D) sanchez, firminho, chicharito, 5.5 mid. (Or RLC and upgrade TAA to 5.5)

Kane, Eriksen and Miki is a part of all options.

I dont have Kane atm. Considering going Kaku to Kane on a ft. But that will force me into picking option B. I could wait till next round and do firm + jesus --> kane + chicha or jesus + RLC --> sanchez + quaner and do lukaku kane on a ft the next window, but then ill potentially loose out on a lot of points by not captaining Kane. Waiting will give me more time to monitor the plans, but getting kane now could give me a massive point haul. Im loosing my mind

Because Salah is better value and you'll move on to the next hot cheap defender soon enough regardless of which one you pick now.

You'd preferably not want to use a transfer on a cheap defender > cheap defender. Not a lot of upside there.

Hegazi may not keep his spot, Mane very much worth the .5 over Salah. Mane makes Liverpool tick.

Personally I like Salah better. His movement is very good for FPL imo. I don't think you could go wrong with either though.

Right now yes, and could possibly be in the future if he keeps his form. The WBA back line isn't the youngest.

So Jesus was always a season keeper for me this year but that "say what" article and Peps comment that the ones coming on for the last 20 minutes could be Sergio or Jesus got me rattled. On WC should I now consider losing my last City asset - Jesus?
Great fixtures coming up so I don't know.

Also on a WC (don't ask) and I am looking at my team with no City coverage. which I thought was crazy as I see them being prolific and scoring in bunches.

I wouldn't touch Jesus right now though. Should be priced closer to 8.5 imo

I will be keeping all of my City assets (KDB, Jesus and Kompany) and make a decision based on this weekend. The way I see it, if they're rotated or blank they will drop in value anyway and then I will just get them back in later on when/if they hit form/find regular places in the team but for less money

You were suggesting to someone who wanted to get Sigurdsson that he wasn't a good pick because he wouldn't score like again in a lifetime. He's proven he can score goals from 40-50 yards on more than one occasion. He's probably the best long range shooter in the Premier League. Sure, he's not going to do it week in, week out, but it's also wrong to suggest that Siggy will never score an amazing long range goal ever again.

I agree he may not get another goal on a stretching volley from 50 yards 16 seconds into the second half of his debut again...

...Just a non-volley 45-yard piledriver straight into the net on his debut.

Valencia, Alonso, Trippier, Jones, Bertrand. Leaning to play 5 at the back.
