Two Gameweeks down and already the dilemmas are building; the siren song of the Wildcard button is calling.

Failing big hitters are the major bone of contention as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me for the second ScoutCast of the season.

We give our verdicts on Spurs talisman Harry Kane, while also assessing the fall-out from Manchester City and, in particular, the shot-shy Kevin De Bruyne.

Driven by another round of community questions, we also chew over The Pogba vs Mkhitaryan debate and the big Bournemouth bail out, before previewing Gameweek 3.

Oh, and after his ten point return on the Aaron Mooy investment, we wrestle to prevent Jonty dropping his name into the conversation at every opportunity. I think I counted two. That’s a win for everyone involved.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    A) Salah and Carroll to Pogba and Richarlison for a -4

    Is it worthy?

    B) Just Salah to Eriksen (can´t afford with A)

    A or B?

I'd probably save. Liverpool and Arsenal could be a goal fest, and Salah already got his rest last week.

KDB to Salah and Mooy to Tadic or Phillips makes sense to me. But I'm guessing you'd like to keep KDB.

    A) Trippier + Hegazi
    B) Davies + Lowe/Fernandez/Mee (could rotate with RLC/Carroll)

I like A. I really do think Firmino is going to perform well this year, he's only gotten better at that position over time. Not convinced on Chica, all he did was tap in 2 goals Forster served for him on a silver platter.

To be fair, that's how he scores, and his goals per minute over his PL career is rather impressive. He's a poacher, but that should not be easily dismissed.

Wanna get Mkhitaryan, so need to downgrade either Kolasinac or Firmino...but which one ?

    A. Kolasinac to Lowe/Hegazi
    B. Firmino to Chicarito
    C. Keep Willian, don't get Mkh as his fixtures turn soon a bit trickier

No Liverpool cover if B, but their fixtures are not that great short term...undecided, what's your pick of these ?

    Thanks.

Willian poised to do well this week, but if you want to I'd go B knowing you'll want a pool asset soon enough.

Nice team. Silva is tricky. Great player but you could get Pedro too who has much better goal threat. Wouldn't even mind downgrading Silva and upgrading Mooy. Maybe a 7.5 and 6 like Antonio and Richarlison since everyone is so big on him.

Cracked it.. i think.. On WC
    Foster-Myhill
    Alonso Cedric Dawson (Mee Lowe)
    Eriksen Pogba Mkhi (RLC Carroll)
    Kane Lukaku Chicharito

Regarding the Players in brackets.. Rotating them based on fixtures.. 2 of them always have a Very good fixture in most gameweeks since Mee/Lowe rotate and so do RLC/Carroll so i'll play that spot based on fixtures. The only thing is lack of Mane/Firmino which worries me but i can probably get them after a few weeks(ARS mcy BUR(expected rotation) ) along with an everton attacker

Despite owning Kane, I think am going to go Lukaku (C) for these reasons:

    - Lukaku has 5 goals in 7 against Leicester, compared to Kane's 2 goals in 5 against Burnley
    - Last season result (Burnley don't get blown out):
    MU vs Leicester 4-1
    Leicester vs MU 0-3
    Spurs vs Burnley 2-1
    Burnley vs Spurs 0-2
    - Despite Kane's stats, the one stat that's hard to ignore is 3 in 2 from Lukaku
    - I'm starting to believe Kane's August Kurse is real

You're stretching to fit in a team that isn't realistic.

If you have Kane/Lukaku, you need to decide whether you want 3 8M+ midfielders or if you want Alonso (only facilitates 2 premium mids)

Is it worth transfer out KDB?? If so, who is the best option??

    A. Eriksen (already got Kane)
    B. Pogba (already got Lukaku)

if you've got no other issues and it's for free then i'd do A

Both are great options, it's a 50/50, I brought in both Eriksen and Pogba.

Where do you list the probable starters then? A predicted line-up would be nice.

When are people thinking of playing their WC? I've seen after this GW, or after GW8. ScoutCast seems to advocate waiting until the holidays.

Anything worth a hit? would be playing 4-3-3

    Foster Elliot
    Kola Bertrand Yoshida Lowe Long
    Willian Eriksen Mkhi Chalobah Carroll
    Lukaku Kane Firmino

    0.5 in bank

    Cheers in advance 😀

Nothing worth a hit, I'd consider playing Chalobah, looked quite decent.
